I'm sorry for what you're going through, honey. Just remember your parents are not only grieving themselves, but they have to watch their children grieve, and that's extremely difficult. Don't take their behavior personally.
Have I ever shown you my Shattered Dreams box? It's in my Disappointment Closet. - Marge Simpson
I'm so sorry. That's so unbelievably rough, especially when the death is sudden. Not a day goes by when I don't miss my dogs, who passed away ten years ago. Our thoughts are with you, always.
I'm so sorry about your dog. My dog died about 5 years ago the day before thanksgivng while I was at school and it was not a good weekend for my family. It's very hard to lose a pet. My dog was a puppy when I was born and she treated me like I was her baby. The only people who could go near me with her going crazy were my mom and dad. You and your family are in my thoughts
The towel waving reminded me of a Per?nist rally. I kept chanting "Evita!" whenever they'd pan to the crowds. - SM2
wow, you all are so incredibly nice i cannot thank you enough, and especially to those people who have PMed me, i also wanted to thank you guys yeah, today we found out from the vet that they looked at my dog anymore, and they say she either had a heart attack, or her intestines got twisted. i hope she wasnt in pain, i just know she died in her sleep. i've missed her a lot today, and i think itll be pretty hard to go take my sister's dog on a walk, and not have her there im moving on a bit though, just grieving to myself. i feel theres a bit of an empty space in my life, though. and my parents and i decided that after she is cremated, we are going to get her ashes back and put them in a box or something, and bury them in our backyard where she was laying when she passed away. and then well just put up a little stone or plaque to remember her by. but again, thank you so much everyone, you guys are really family to me right now, and have really helped me through this -Patrick

I lost my Golden last week, so I know exactly how you feel. It sucks a LOT, but every day it will suck a little bit less. I agree about BWW folks--they were a huge help to me and I'm glad to see that they are being just as helpful toward you.

And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps...
What did she realize, Kitten?
That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs.
What's wrong with that?
Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had...
