I love The Grapes of Wrath.

But Of Mice and Men is better.

i liked Of Mice and Men. The Grapes of Wrath is putting me to sleep. probably because the teacher insists on spending the hour of class time listening to the book read to us on cassette.

i'm also just not a very big fan of steinbeck.

I loved Of Mice and Men and Grapes of Wrath is on that list of books I'm going to read because I should, not because I actually am interested.

We had to listen to a Steinbeck novel on tape once with the class and it was annoying as hell because the guy read so slowly. When the teacher was out of the room, someone would just hop up and fast foward the tape so we could finish it sooner.
