I just watched the first two episodes of season one again, and the show has gotten so much better.

I still want to see Ava again though.

OMG. FutureChristian looked like a flaming Bob Barker! That hair...the scarf! I half expected him to admonish us to spay and neuter our pets. He was kind of amusing. The vainest, most image-obsessed one of all has a potbelly and overeats. Oh well. He seemed happy.

LIked the kid who played Conor. I hated Jennifer Elise Cox as Annie--the over-the-top performance didn't fit in. Weird episode, and I'm wondering if we're supposed to take it literally that this IS exactly what happens. Or, was it a what-if?

Yep it was like Jennifer Elise Cox playing Jan Brady playing Annie. Way overboard. Notice there was no mention of Kimber or Matt's child.

I'm thinking this is more of Sean's (or maybe Julia's) fantasy of what could happen, 20 years from now.

Of course, in that fantasy, I think either one of them would want Matt to get rid of Kimber, go to school, follow in the father's foosteps. But what about the baby?

And the 30 year old Annie was just weird.

And older Matt is HOT.

I don't know why but normally his eyebrows pretty much just freak me out. His "grown up" look made the eyebrows look more normal.

Funny you mention Michael Jackson, I remember thinking that in the pilot when he had long hair. It was an odd episode though.

I dont think he looked as freaky as he does in the regular episodes.

In reality, they didn't have to age him much. Let's see... 20 years from 18?.. The character was around 40. John's 30 next year.
