The problem is that I do not see the federal government ever enforcing the laws.
They do not enforce the ones currently on the books.
They need to start enforcing the laws and fine employers who basically use illegal immigrants as slave laborers, paying substandard wages, and that will never happen under a Republican Administration.

Further, I do not want any more third worlders who clearly are from cultures in which women are deemed subservient to men, being allowed to enter this country.
Women have fought too hard and too long for equal rights here to allow such uneducated and ill-cultured invaders into our society.

Actually, where I grew up, there are already Chinese and Spanish immersion programs in the grade schools.
Those who are in business are already learning both languges, regarldess of their age.

If you are an illegal immigrant, go back where you came from. If you want to become a legal citizen that is one thing. But if you are going to come here, not learn English, and become an overall nuisnace, go back where you came from.

Our laws are some of the harshest in the world. And then we wonder why so many U.S. immigrants are illegal.

Well, if you want to make the "INS is filled with morons" argument, I'm not going to stand in your way. 
It's telling that what used to be INS is now under the umbrella of the Homeland Security Department. Countries like Canada have their immigration department under the umbrella of commerce.

You mean that wonderful department that so well managed the absorption of FEMA and demonstrated its ability at ineptitude's during and after Hurricane Katrina?
No matter what laws are passed, they will never be properly enforced with the way these departments have been sucked into DHS.
