Hi AMCers! I know a couple of you were looking forward to the new writers, but personally, I think the writing is worse than ever. These stories on AMC have gone way past the outrageousness of even soap operas!
Not liking it! I can't think of one good plot line at the moment.

Hate everyone pretty much...except my Annie...'specially now that she's nuts...or not...or is...or not.
Know who Amanda is? Shell Kepler...no reason to be on the show...never a story line...furniture, basically.

yes...she was on throughout the 80s as Amy Vining...nurse extrodinaire and resident nosybody.
Amanda is there to keep this HORRRRRIBLE flirtation between GI Jane and Mr. Sensitive going. I HATE THOSE TWO...let them leave already!
Oh, and to agree with everything Babe says.
I love the stupidity of the Josh/embezzling plotline. Zack flips out and decides to kill him...Kendal frees her brother, defying her husband (VERY played out with those two) and now they act like someone forgot to take out the trash.

Yes, I hate that woman Taylor, she's gross looking and her part is grossly written. She can take Jake (I made a rhyme) and leave with Amanda in tow.

Broadway actor sighting: Andrew C Call (Cry-Baby, Glory Days) and on of the Army folks!
By the way, I've been giving the show more of a chance. I've found the show to be absolutely unwatchable in recent years, and I've myself watching little by little more and more.

She stinks, and here's why they replaced the old Colby...who was no great actress either, but the reason never even happened!:
"It appears the rumors were true. SoapNet.com is reporting that cutie Ambyr Childers is out as All My Children's Colby Chandler. The role is being SORASed with 25-year-old daytime newcomer Brianne Moncrief assuming the part in order to ramp up the potential for a Colby/Frankie (Cornelius Smith Jr) pairing.
According to her bio, Moncrief is a performing arts grad from Fordham University and while I suppose its nice to see a daytime casting decision based on acting training as opposed to if someone can "strike a pose" and "give good face" (re: Madonna's "Vogue") I have to say I am not pleased to see the spunky Childers go. She has held her own with the brilliant David Canary (Adam/Stuart) for two years and this is the thanks she gets?
What do you think? Was it absolutely necessary to recast the role with an older actress to make a pairing with Frankie more acceptable or was Childers perfectly capable of playing out the storyline?"

how are they going to keep fans of this show going if they keep replacing all the young actors on this show? i hear there's a whole problem with them not wanting to renew them after a 5 year contract or something?
it's just ridiculous. i hated Babe, then liked Babe, and am now back to hating her thanks to the new actress.
