Witches is one of the best movies I have ever seen in my life!
But back to topic-
I absolutely LOVE this poster. Sure, the guy doesn't look like Depp. Who am I kidding, the guy doesn't even look like a guy. But, nonetheless, the costume is incredible.

Posted: 11/9/04 at 12:06pmDepp was the best thing about Pirates and his performance was Oscar-worthy. I'm not sure about the androgynous Wonka thing. I do, however, hope that it is successful enough to finally have a film version of the sequel, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, which I loved more than the first book.

Didn't the movie of The Witches totally ruin the ending?I can't imagine Hollywood actually hanging on to Dahl's ending.
And once again, I just don't see the appeal of a vaguely feminine-looking man with bad hair and white pancake makeup. Delphine, care to enlighten me? Or will you just take away my "straight girl" card?

SPOILER FOR THE WITCHES
In the book, the main character (the boy) stays a mouse for the rest of his life. I'm pretty sure in the movie he got switched back or some such thing. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Willy Wonka and the Chocoalate Factory was the scariest most devastating movie of my childhood.
I absolutely hated it when I was kid, and the fact that Johnny Depp (who I find pretty gross) is making a new one, makes me want to cry. However, I do enjoy a horror flick, so I will go see it...

I don't really like the hair that much in the poster, but I am sure the movie will be great because Johnny Depp is in it and he is a wonderful actor.
and by the way.. Is it just more or don't you think more people finally realized who Johnny Depp was once Pirates of the Caribbean came out? I mean I always liked him, but it seemed like people really noticed him once he was in POTC.
