This is a random topic to create considering the comment was made back in January 13, 2017. Is this because Nicole Kidman might be Emmy competition for Jessica Lange?

It was more of a plea to respect the Constitution and democracy no matter what the result is of that system. It was more of a believe in the system to keep America running thing more than anything else. She said her comments should not be construed as an endorsement.

Anyway, That was back in January 13, when people who actively chose not to pay attention didn't see all the warning signs a Trump presidency would have wrought. Now it's April 27 and he's had three months of actually being in power and has caused damage. I wonder if she'll make the same appeal now.

No, Jennifer Garner is not a Trumpster. She campaigned for Hillary. Trying to squeeze an iota of progress out of this administration may be like getting blood out of a stone, but she'll give it a shot. As for Nicole Kidman's comments, I don't necessarily agree with her sentiments, but they seem in the spirit of Obama's "we're rooting for his success, when he succeeds, we succeed" comments - her heart is in the right place. I remain a fan.
