dottie, yes, but as girlie revealed i do not now nor have i ever owned a cellphone.

(i'm secretly waiting to be accused of a crime that could only be committed using a cellphone so that when i'm put on the stand during my trial i can proclaim my innocence by saying, "your honor, madame prosecutor and ladies and gentlemen of the jury, i don't even OWN a cellphone!")

and unless it's the apocalypse my answer will be "no" it is not acceptable to use your phone on the jitney.

I prefer the train also,, but if I know there won't be any cellphone talking, I'll switch to the jitney next time. Emergency shmergency.

Oddly enough, I just encountered a guy (in a severely wrinkled cashmere sweater) a few minutes ago who seemed to be breaking up with his girlfriend on his cell phone, just screaming at her dropping f-bombs three or four times in every sentence and calling her a bitch as often as possible. I was sort of hoping liotte was on the other end of that call.

Especially at the severely wrinkled cashmere sweater part!

And this brings up the point of when it is or is not appropriate to drop said f-bomb. There is a guy at the gym who is SO loud and he was behind me the other day on the elliptical machine. I had forgotten my i-pod so I was forced to listen to him saying the eff word every 30 seconds.
