I did! If you don't, don't expect any sympathy from me. I was at my polling place at around 6:45AM here in northern NJ. The place was pretty empty, one person walking out as I arrived, one walking in as I left.

I'm happy to say that the local Moose Lodge was packed at 7:00am today. I assume everyone was stopping in before heading to work. Either that or it was the leftover crowd from bingo.

I voted at 6:20 this morning and it was not that busy for me either.

I just voted. It was just me and a bunch of senior citizens.

I did my part to make sure the Tea Party doesn't take power!

I voted early and often. And was number 14 in my District.

I couldn't vote this year. I wasn't in NY, and missed the absentee ballot deadline.

Voted. Don't like NY's new system...took me twice as long as before to cast my ballot. There were 6 scanners at my polling place but only two were working. What's up with that? It's not like Election Day is a surprise...shouldn't all the equipment be working?

The turnout was larger than I expected. Which was nice to see.

Me. My polling place was dead, but I was there a little after 9, which isn't exactly a peak time, I guess.

I voted straight-party for the first time in my life, which is odd because I'm not all that thrilled with the party I voted, er, straight for.

Voted and count me in with JAG who does not like NY's new voting system. Why change a good thing? I can't tell about the activity in the polling place. It's at a nursing home so naturally I was surrounded by seniors and seldom anyone else.

Voted absentee. It scared the s*it out of me to see "NJ Tea Party" printed next to a candidate's name.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

I voted at 630 am. There were about a dozen people there or so...and more coming in when I left. Now its time to make some dinner, pour some wine, and watch the drama unfold....
