OT: Kristin in a bikini!

Did anyone else read the New York Post this am? Kristin Chenoweth was in a photo in a pink bikini (looking HOT)! It was a picture from an upcoming FHM Magazine issue. Headline mentioned her being "Wicked".

Kill me if you want, but I have a problem with someone who is a Christian and wants to have a strong Christian witness being in a bikini on the cover of FHM Mag. You can't have it both ways.

I am Christian and I think what Jersey meant is that if Kristin wants to be seen as a strong Christian... she may not want to be quite as openly "sexual". It isn't something that is condoning what she does... it is just that sexuality isn't something taken lightly in the Church. They are more conservative and wearing a bikini with the headline saying "wicked" in that sort of context doesn't portray you as the most Christian person. I adore Kristin either way though, I am not going to judge the things she does, I am just trying to clarify Jersey's comments.

I'm very open minded. I am just trying to say that if Kristin wants to be seen as very Christian, that type of publicity may hurt her image a bit. Everyone seems to think all Christians are close minded people who HATE all sex and homosexuality but lets try to remember we all don't agree with everything the Church says. Not to mention, even if I did agree with some of the things the Church says about sexuality, I could still love Broadway and post here.

Well (sorry to beat this to death), but actions speak louder than words. As best I can tell, Kristin's actions and the way she seems to treat people are a true diplay of her TRUE Christian nature. You can dress in a Nun's habit, but if you treat people like crap (IMHO), you aren't a Christian.

Wow. I cant believe someone would say this. Her faith has NOTHING to do with what she wears. Have you read the bible? It is full of sexuality. Who said sex is not moral? Most Christians dont understand that Jesus was a very open minded person. lol. If christians want people to see that this is a good way to go in life, dont mike it seem like life is binding. I love my life, have an open mind, enjoy all parts of life and I have a great relationship with god. Get over yourself.

Well, the first poster said it was for a magazine spread. I've never heard of FM magazine, though. Does anyone know what kind of magazine it is? Is it like Maxim?

It's not just the bikini; it's the magazine. FHM is a T&A magazine. I haven’t seen her pictures, but usually, the only thing that separates it from Playboy is a couple of very small pieces of fabric.

Edit: Having said that, I could care less what she does, and I have nothing against these types of magazines. However, anyone who thinks they aren't selling sex is kidding themselves.

shameless said it very well. The magazine is clearly one that sells sex. I personally don't care what she does, but it certainly seems against her pretty virginal reputation.
