"And no, a Christian whose witness is important to them can not pose for Playboy."
Jersey, you apparently got your judgmental side from the Baptists.
Call me judgmental all you want. Honestly, I was referring to Baptists and not Christians in general. I was born and raised Baptist and that is the only denomination I know inside and out. In my opinion, a Baptist can not pose nude and maintain a Christian witness. I would not, were I young and impressionable, listen to someone who told me that sex is sacred and should be saved for the marriage bed or that lust is a sin when they had been featured in Playboy. If my friend can't teach Sunday School because he is gay, then someone who poses nude sure as hell cannot witness.
As I said, this specific magazine does not change my opinion of Kristin. I don't think she is immoral at all and never said that. It's not the pose that bothers me, it's the choice of this magazine. I think she made a poor choice, but it was hers to make.

NYC4Life: With the exception of Ms. Streep, I'm not a fan of any of those actresses, they've all had a few decent roles. Hollywood is vastly different now in that the term actress and celebrity are interchangable. You don't even need talent anymore.
But of that list of actresses, none of them have posed for FHM, have they?
There are maybe 2 actresses that can open a film now, Julia Roberts and Reese Witherspoon. Beyond the two of them not many can.
Almost every actor and actress at some point takes a paycheck (and you can tell) nature of the industry to just get some exposure.
But I think there are people who make a policy of making sure it's known that they'll not do a gratuitous nude scene (such as Robert/Witherspoon) There are nude scenes that are character intrinsic and artistically merited (Jodie Foster in The Accused) and those that come up with an excuse as to why they did a nude scene. I don't think Halle Berry "needed" to do the scene in Swordfish to "prepare" for Monster's Ball. One is lounging on a chair and the other is a graphic sex scene, preparation is standing in front of your mirror at home and dropping the towel.
Sorry for the OT OT

Quite honestly, all of you judgemental b*tches need to get a grip.
Chenoweth is an actress who needs to be in demand if she is going to keep her career on target. Having her name known by the young mail demographic isn't a bad thing at all. If anything it allows her to show that she isn't one dimensional (pun very much intended) like some of you apparently would like her to be. Appearing in a bikini (as thousands do every minute of every day) is hardly reason to burn her at the stake.
Woo hoo. She's religious. She's also sexy. She doesn't judge you, so don't judge her. I for one am delighted when one of our own (legit theatre actors) makes the jump to LA-style fame.

I dreamed last night I got on the boat to heaven...
and by some chance found my self in pink spandex...
and there I stood, and I hollered 'someone save me!',
but the posters there knew right from wrong...
For the people all said, 'Put on!, put on this black burka'.
