"WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama will appear in a back-to-school television special with singer Kelly Clarkson and basketball star LeBron James...In the program, the president says education is the key to people living out their dreams. "So as this new school year begins, I urge you to set goals for your own education: to study hard and get involved in your school, to try new things and find something you're passionate about," Obama says, according to a release issued Wednesday.

"And that's how our nation will get ahead ? by ensuring that every American gets a world-class education, from preschool to college to a career," Obama said."

You know, hey, get 'em while they're young....the earlier we get the kids, the earlier we make this adjustment with the youth, the easier this transition is going to be. Stand guard America. "Our leader will be addressing all schoolchildren on September 8th. ... Will our MSM report on the interesting parallel between our president's plan for our children and the approach of another Great Leader from the past?

Naturally, those citizens who improperly interpret "what the president believes is important" will be given additional educational opportunities to learn and reflect on his message. They will be housed in special government schools for people of all ages, to be set up across the country in quiet, rural areas, free from the stress of everyday life that can cloud clear thinking."

"Perhaps because he has had enough of adult Americans questioning his policies and his lies, or perhaps he would like to take some attention away from his falling approval ratings and failing healthcare overhaul, Obama has turned his team of brainwashers on the task of indoctrinating America's youth...It seems to me that the president has enough help devastating the country with community service from the likes of ACORN, George Soros' cabal of organizations, and brainwashed liberals who still adore him. These morons are making political satire all but impossible! From "Ed Anger" in the Weekly World news, long a source for gut busting stupidity:

"I?m madder than a schoolmarm with a worm in her apple!

Now I hear the Communist-in-Chief is giving a speech to every school in the country on September 8! All the kids are gonna look at a television screen while the Teleprompter Kid reads off HIS television screen, and tells them all to study hard this year.

At least, that better be all he tells them. But I bet Obama won?t be able to stop himself from telling them all to recycle their juiceboxes or they?re all gonna die. He?ll probably even tell the kids to spy on their parents and report any suspicious activity ? like owning a gun, or voting Republican or watching ?Dancing with the Stars? ? to the White House!"

A Republican pal forwarded a very similar E-Mail on to me that he got from a "Teabag Buddy." Now Daily Kos has posted one-

"Take a day of vacation. Go to the zoo. Anything that would save your offspring from what I will bluntly say is just the quasi-fellating the executive branch. That cackling over a bubbling cauldron you hear is the NEA rejoicing.


I wouldn?t have such a problem with the Department of Education were this presented in a non-Orwellian fashion."

I don't think they are joking. You can read it yourself....If you can wade through the misspelled "big words" and bizarre grammar. These people should NOT be missing school.

I know I'm crazy to think this, but telling them to stay in school and study hard seems a little better than telling them ketchup is a vegetable.

Or that "potato" has an "e" at the end of it.

I think these nervous Republicans are just scared that the youth of America might potentially grow up to be smarter than them.

When the US starting bombing Iraq, my high school had an anti-war protest that was arranged by students. Shocking, but 17 and 18 year olds do have their own opinions on serious matters that effect their daily lives.

When I was their age, I had to listen to Nancy Reagan tell me how a puff of pot was going to make me think I could fly and jump off a 30-story building (even though no 30-story buildings existed in my hometown, it was a very real fear).
