According to the poll, a majority of voters, 52%, say the President is not honest and trustworthy, compared to 44% who say the opposite. It's the first time in Quinnipiac history that the president's trustworthy numbers are underwater.

American voters say 53 - 43 percent that the Obama Administration has not been competent running the government. By a similar 51 - 43 percent margin, voters say Obama is not paying enough attention to what his administration is doing.

Bush's ratings never topped 50% after early 2005 and had nudged a bottom of 30% about the time he left office. Even at this low ebb,Obama is out polling him by about 10%. Here's a nice chart:

To be fair, the President has gotten deservedly good numbers for terrorism. here are the other topics.

Growl I respect your perspective and I tell you I just don't know what to do about "Sue." I see the case for ignoring it, especially since I think it must be purposely posting lies as I do not think any sentient being could be so dense but on the other hand I find it incredibly dangerous to leave those lies out there. IT posts with such authority and ignorance I don't want even one person to read it's garbage and say "Oh wow, I never knew that."

I just don't knwo what to do. I have thought of just abandoning this forum but truthfully I would miss the interaction with so many people. I guess I also want to try to figure out why it does these things- what makes the dog crap on the rug? Why does it try to drive us away?

Joe, I agree but I think you are over thinking it. I think Sue honestly thinks she is the smartest one in the room. Just a little more informed than us because she watches Fox and gets her news from Drudge and World Net Daily. I see this a lot. They think the media is liberal and the ONLY WAY TO GET THE FACTS AND THE REAL STORY is to watch Fox. Listen to Rush or AM Talk Radio. They really do believe they are superior because they are smarter and 'in on whats REALLY going on'.

Because of this they are usually arrogant, LOVE to gloat, declare themselves the winner of any debate, and so on. They wear down their opponent to the o where it's just to frustrating to go on.They can't tell the difference between an editorial and an actual news story. They fall for a headline which often is based on a lie (Drudge is notorious for this) I know people like this and see a lot of this in Sue's posts. Sue likes to pretend she is not bias. She will say both sides are bad but only focus on Democrats. She'll claim she likes this and that about Obama but trash him non stop. She pretends she is fair and honest and we have seen she is anything but. What's baffling is who does she think she is fooling? I would never go to free republic or a conservative forum and post my liberal ideas. I could, but why? If Sue was more rational and willing to talk to, I would welcome it. However,it is so obvious she just stirs the pot.Like I said, I know people who belong to the Tea Party who play this exact same game.It's almost identical to what Sue does.

Sue is arrogant,ignorant, and a hypocrite. Three qualities required to be a Republican/Tea Party follower nowadays.

It sees itself as "a centrist" in real life. It thinks it exists in the mythical American middle. It likes to believe it thinks there are extremes in the left and the right and that it and beings like it thinks there are an equal number of valid things in both wings of American politics. It thinks it is mysterious, an enigma, and a delightful puzzle for the victims it trolls. It bores people in its real life with wishy washy statements about being poltically "independent."

It thinks it is creating dramatic dialogue and we are like characters bringing her fantasy to life.
