Terrorist organizations are funding the "Ground Zero" Mosque. And, Obama was for it before he was against it.

This is a shame! Obama/Pelosi could care less who is fudning the Mosque, but they want those speaking out against the mosque to be investigated! What next?

Calls to investigate the funding for those proposing the $100 million "Cordoba House" have fallen on deaf ears, though, as New York's Mayor Mike Bloomberg has described such an investigation as "un-American."


Ms. Pelosi called the Ground Zero mosque an "urban development decision" for New Yorkers to work through. Her remarks happened on the heels of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat, parting ways with President Barack Obama on the issue. Mr. Reid suggested the mosque should be built somewhere else.

Interesting that this entire thread is based on a faux issue, rather than on an actual issue that Obama was very definitely "for" but eventually decided to be "against."

Yep. Many people are buried under Washington Square park, more in numbers than died on 9/11. Some were flu victims, some were hung, and there were many others. Their memory matters, not where their bodies lie.

Now, there's a great defense. That's a good point.

I never voted for Bush, so I'm not too worried about him. But since you brought him up... Dowd and others are begging him to step forward to support Obama being for it and then against it.

I don't think Roscoe was saying this was a "Faux" issue in general (The mosque itself) I beleive he was saying YOUR THREAD was a faux issue in that Barack Obama has never said he was against the mosque and so your insistence he was "for it before he was against it" is indeed, a "faux issue."

And incidentally, any time you'd like, I'd be happy to come to Xenia and debate you in front of the student body.

Thanks, Joe, but yeah, I do think this whole "mosque" thing is a faux issue, in addition to the whole thread. This "mosque" mess seems terribly fake, designed to instigate hatred and violence against Muslims and to cast Obama in an ill light for supporting that pesky little thing called religious freedom.

I think we should make a similar fuss over Catholic seminaries located near pre-schools.
