Findings from a new survey of the Doctor/Patient Medical Association finds 83% of physicians are thinking of quitting over Obamacare
Facebook pages are full of satisfied customers from this government endeavor - wink wink nudge nudge .

I think of quitting my job too - when I win the Lotto.
Who knew doctors were such drama queens?
Comic!
For anyone who doesn't want to bother clicking the link, the association quoted is a crackpot organization, and the poll never mentioned Obamacare. The question was:
How do current changes in the medical system affect your desire to practice medicine?
I'm re-energized - 4.6%
Makes me think about quitting - 82.6%
Unsure/no opinion - 12.8%
I am on Medicare so thank God I do not have to deal with this catastrophe.
I have 2 doctors. a gastron guy and urologist. Both have knowledge of the intricasies of the law and say it is like a 50 car pile up waiting to happen
As a footnote my wife is unemployed and unable to get a job in Obamas robust economy. She is 2 1/2 years away from Medicare..She is trying in vain to get on the website and is really frustrated. Good thing Obamacare covers carpal tunnel syndrome
Little known fact the government can attach your bank account if you do not pay the fine. The GOP should throw up the white flag aa ACA is destroying itself

'But I can't link my story,, you'll just have to find it on your own'
Roxy,
For someone who doesn't have to 'deal with this catastrophe", you sure do complain a whole lot.

Do you not see the irony, Roxy?

Roxy, this "fact" is little-known because it's not a fact, it's a lie. Much like so many other lies circulated by the teabaggers in chain emails and FB memes (aka Teabagger News Network).

He doesn't see the irony, does he?
Wait and see
It is a big Ponzi scheme. If young people do not sign up in droves thereis no way to pay for it
They cannot even sign up if they wanted to.Are. my 2 doctors "teabaggers"? They see what this is and they say it cannot work as it is written
A Ponzi scheme like the Medicare one Roxy?
I wonder how many Tea Baggers out there who don't have insurance have signed up and are taking advantage of Obmacare while at the same time Complaining about it. I bet the numbers are pretty high.

These are the same cries of doom and gloom as when Medicare was implemented. Do you not see the irony, Roxy?
As long as Roxy can get his viagra paid for so he can (at least try) to stick it in the Mrs. once a year, I think he's good.
Hey Roxy, do you not realize how many MILLIONS of people are all trying to access that website to sign up? I agree, it is a mess right now. I've been having issues, but it sounds like common ones. Your wife just has to be patient. And relax. Not dealing with it this week is not the end of the world.
Yes, the irony is lost on him...
Coverage does not become effective until January 1st - so no one's coverage will be impacted by the fact that demand far outweighed supplied.
For the record, the federal exchange was supposed to be a stop gap for those states that did not enact local exchanges. With over 30 GOP governors refusing to implement local exchanges (and deal with the Medicare Gap funding) far more people are signing up for the Federal Program than originally anticipated AND there is a huge gap on funding for the working poor.
It is ironic that most of those people would gladly pay for what Roxy takes for granted.

I used to assume Roxy must be a bit smarter than the people who showed up at rallies with "US Gov't: Keep you're hands off my Medicare" placards. But now I'm not giving him the benefit of the doubt.
So he sees a headline on the Drudge Report or something, and then comes here to complain about what he thinks it means? He never, EVER posts a link to whatever he's referring to.
Yep.
And, I am just exhausted by the zero sum gain approach. Sometimes, you can make the pie bigger, or create a whole new pie. Just because someone else is getting something does not always mean you are not. The whole "I got mine now you go F off" while singing hymns and claiming to be Christian (not necessarily directed at Roxy) just makes me want to scream. As a cultural Jew, I am more christian in my attitude and relationships than those that wear the title like a military honor.

I believe Roxy identifies as Christian.
He may, but I have not heard him necessarily use his faith aggressively as a defining trait. If he does, he is just that much more of a hypocrite (in my opinion).
What would Jesus Do? Heal the sick and feed the poor. That is not the mantra of today's corporate Christians.
Roxy is posting on he main board so he's obviously choosing to just avoid responding to this thread now.
Like he usually does.
So...if Roxy is thanking god that he's on Medicare and not having to deal with the ACA. One has to wonder if he would favor a Single Payer, Universal Health Care plan for everyone?

In the early days of BWW I remember posting that healthcare is a human right. He countered that he believed no one has a right to healthcare and that his first wife had died of cancer. Who Would Jesus Heal?
