lol nice... I'm sure its still pretty gramatically incorrect it probaly should be Me encantalo mucho...I love it alot...otherwise it just means I love alot, which is quite true but decisively irrelevant!

I got into a fight with an usher who swore I was in the wrong spot. But I sat down in the seats anyway. Then an older usher came over and said, "Sorry, she's new."

How embarrassing.

No.

Me encanta mucho.

lo is an object prounoun meaning, of many things, "it."

The sentence in Spanish is literally, (It) is loved by me a lot.

furthermore, putting lo after encanta makes it a command, so me encantalo means Love it by me.

He goes away for a week, and his on-stage 'gal' is 'injured'! (I only say 'injured' like that because I don't really know what's going on...). Poor girl, Cassidy must have wooed her right off of those Faragamo shoes!

HEYYYYY GUYS!!!!! Back from the show.

I don't even know where to begin. Pre-show was awful. Just this series of very very unfortunate events beyond out control, causing us to be slightly late to the show. Showed up middle of the overture to discover that our seats were not together. Stupid lying TKTS people. Oh well. Seats were just fine. I could see everything. Anyway.

Wow. Okay, I'm the most emotional person ever. And I cry when I'm excited/overwhealmed/etc. So...I get to my seat just as John Lithgow appears on stage......and I cry. lol. I'm a huge John fan.

Oh, and Norbert! He deserved best actor.

The whole show was amazing and funny and I can't believe I just witnessed John Lithgow, Norbert Leo Butz, Sherie Renee Scott, and Joanna Gleason on the same stage. It's amazing. They were all great.

Joanna seemed a little sick - she cracked a little in What Was A Woman to Do, and changed the higher notes to lower notes in Like Zis/Like Zat. But she still carried on and was beautiful.

BTW - What are the posts about Joanna about? Was she injured? She seemed fine besides some vocal issues...

A couple funny things: John messed up the words during The More We Dance and started laughing a tiny tiny bit, but covered the mishap really nicely. You would only know he messed up if you knew the song. And during curtain call, his wig started coming off and was like flapping around. It was great.

I would go into more detail..but..well..this is long enough. I'll link you to my livejournal when I do the entry about my whole trip.

Stagedoor: WOW. Norbert came out really early with a group of the ensemble (which I think included Andrew...so he slipped by without me getting to talk to him..) He seemed like he's pretty shy around fans, but was still really nice. Took a couple pictures and he signed my program.

Sherie came out next. (Yes, BSo, SHERIE!!) And she is absolutely drop dead gorgeous. And she is the nicest person. My friend and I told her how we are the biggest Last 5 Years fans, and she told us we have good taste.

And then finally, the moment where I almost peed my pants. John freaking Lithgow. He had a great hat on, and he was really nice. A very cool guy.

I am in shock.

I do have to say, though, that I was very upset not to see Greg. Which is obvious, I know, but I didn't expect to be that disappointed. When Chimp in a Suit started, I was very sad. Joe Cassidy was very good, don't get me wrong, but..you know..he wasn't Greg...

But, yes, overall it was an amazing night!

On the way back from my month in Maine, we're stopping in the city again so I can see Greg. I'm such a big fan my mom will take a detour because she knows how important it is to me. Wow. lol.

TOMORROW - Light in the Piazza. !!!! I'm so excited.

Sorry this was so long. But you know. It was a very very good night.

Yes, I got the message from my Gleason fan club too, that Joanna injured while doing DRS and because of that, the reading would be postponed which she would do with her husband.
But then this info wasn't true, I guess.
Well, anyway...I am so happy for you that you could see the show, but more and more detail please.
PS: I am sure that I would cry the whole show because I am crying whem I'm laughing. Seriously.

I hate airports. My plane got delayed...we left the hotel for the Orlando airport at 11 and I walked into my house at 9:20. Ulgh. But yeah except for stupid airports, Disneyworld was awesome, I love it there! Did almost everythign again, some new rides were awesome, only downpoints were some bad rain at times and blisters all over my feet. Got a nice tan though. And I am proud to say that I have a healthy addiction with Gregcam. I did not at all wish I could watch Gregcam instead of be at EPCOT so I'm good...at times I'd notice the time and think what was going on at the cam, but that's perfectly healthy...anywayz yaay for the happiest celebration on earth.

Barb, thank you soooo much for all those images on the cam, you said you'd save lots for me but you really went all out! Looks like I missed a great cam saturday, glad you guys enjoyed it and that I got to see lots of the images.

Well all this talk about being true Gregheads, Greg fans, etc...how's this...From about 10:15 until right now...I just read approximately 50 pages of this thread. I think that's dedication on my part. Okay so random things I have to say about 50 pages I missed:

Jan was on Sat's cam ahhh! I mean I actually got to talk to her backstage(she's from my county) but to finally get my wish of someone involved with the pit on the cam and I'm not there....aww. Well yaay for Jan appearing anyway, and I already told her how much I admire her.

If we're all going by real names now...my name is Amanda(though I'm sure you all know that from the cam) so feel free to call me that or Bob...whichever you prefer.

Roving cam looked pretty awesome. Agreee with BSo, it was a tad been there, done that but that made it cooler to be like I was there...but there really is no need to brag...fortunately the thing I would brag most about is being in the pit and most people would prob be more jealous of other backstage things so that's all good.

Liz, glad you had a good time even without Greg! When I went on Thursday I wanted to meet Andrew as well but I stayed for the talkback and the ensemble was long gone by then, I'll hafta do it at some point in the future.

BSo, you should know my exact age since I know you know my b-day...(18 for clarification for everyone else)

So no I don't have seniority with age...but there seems to be a tad bit of a contest in terms of seeing shows. If this is the case...

I have seen at least once every musical currently playing(including Bklyn and La Cage and Little women-recently closed so I'm counting them) except for the 3 jukebox musicals..also forbidden broadway twice, musical of musicals the musical twice, jewtopia, dessa rose, and of course a lot in the past. Now to go into ones I've seen more than once...Rent 5 times, Wicked 4 times, Ave Q twice, Fiddler twice, Phantom twice, La Cage twice, Little Women twice(last performance), Light in the Piazza twice, Spelling Bee twice, and...DRS 5 times.

Okay now...to sleep.;..or attempt to catch up on the rest of the entire week of BWW...maybe a bit of both...

I already apologized and told you I love you too, and come to think of it since you are my younger brother you don't even need to include me because we're family so there.

Kerrie, thanks for the report!! Sounds like one cool mom you have there, btw. Glad you saw it, and even gladder you'll be seeing it again. We need a "Kerrie & Greg" photo for the "Friends of Andre" gallery!

Amanda, glad you enjoyed the images posted from the 6/25 cam. I thought it was cool how, with the slide show, some look like animation (or a flip book) -- some of the ones with Jack, for instance.

I'm am now indulging, for the first time, in a new flavor ice cream I bought at the grocery store Thurs. night ... "Happy Birthday" is the name of the flavor ... it's "cake flavored ice cream" (that part pretty much tastes like vanilla to me) with pieces of yellow cake, candy sprinkles, and with chocolate fudge frosting swirl. It is quite yummy.
