Liz, that's cool! :)
I hate being up THIS early!

Ha! Earth Wind and Fire is going to be on The Today show again on Monday.
Anyway, I like being up early. On the weekends I'musually up and out by 6:30.
6:30 A.M?!?!?!
6:30?! Dear lord. 9 AM was early for me today.
Back at the hotel now.. obviously. lol. We had lunch at Serendipity today. Frozen hot chocolate = HEAVEN. Wow. We went to central park, went into stores too expensive for us. All the good stuff. heh.
I'm so tired and my feet are killing me! Ahh!
The weirdest thing happened - we were walking down 5th avenue and we saw someone we went to high school with (in FLORIDA!) It was really weird. Very random, but cool.
So...Light in the Piazza tonight! I'm so excited. (Not as excited as I was to see DRS, though. hehe.)
I woke up this morning and looked at my signed DRS program. I still can't believe it! I know I sound like a dork, lol.
I keep typing too much. My apologies.
Liz - I added your picture to the GFU creation site.

Ooh have fun at Piazza, Kerrie! I loove that show...not quite as much as DRS, but it's very close there. I'll anxiously be awaiting your review--I saw it twice and it's such a beautiful show. Sorry skimmed through 50 pages...how long will you be in the city for and are you seeing anything else?

:) Have had that CD for quite a while. Of course, my favorite is the one Greg sings!
Speaking of which, an excerpt of Greg singing "Come To The Supermarket" can be heard on the mp3 songs sampler ... go to this page of the site:
http://www.gregoryjbara.com/mp3/songs.html
btw, this song isn't from Disney's animated feature Aladdin; it's a song that was written by Cole Porter (his last score, according to the CD liner notes) for "a 90 minute DuPont Show of the Month that aired on CBS on February 21, 1958."
Anyway, thought some might enjoy hearing a bit of it, as well as the other excerpts of songs included in the sampler.

I was just bopping around Ebay and found it, so I had to post.

Yeah, that one and some of the other Varese Sarabande cd's show up on eBay now and again. I may have even bought some of mine off there, can't even remember at this point. I know some I bought directly from VS.
Other Greg-related VS CD's I have are Unsung Musicals II; The Musical Adventures of Peter Pan; A Broadway Christmas; Drat! The Cat; and Unsung Irving Berlin.
The Light in the Piazza - WOW. Matthew Morrison is GORGEOUS....just so you know..lol. The seats were perfect. I got them from Student Tix. Dead center, row M. The plaec is so small there isn't a bad seat, really. It was amazing. Victoria Clark deserved that Tony more than words can describe. She was unbelievable. And Kelli was beautiful. The whole show was amazing. I can't believe Spamalot won best musical over this and DRS. (I haven't seen Spamalot..but..come on, now. lol)
Stagedoor was the most casual thing ever. My only other stagedoors have been Wicked and DRS - so the amount of people and the lack of chaos was baffling. There weren't even 15 people there. Matthew came out first. He was so...you know...normal cool guy with a really awesome scooter. He signed everyone's playbills and took pictures (and put his arm around me. Giggle.) Kelli was next, after like 10 minutes, and she was so nice. Got a picture with her. Victoria took forever, not sure what she was doing. We actually left after waiting a half hour, but then realized we walked the wrong way, so walked back, and she came out! We didn't get a picture, but she signed out playbill.
And then I had my first Stardust Diner experience. Very cool. Crappy food, but lots of fun. lol
I swear, after I leave New York, I won't be typing this much..heh. (I leave tomorrow at 1.)
Glad you loved Piazza! I agree I love that stage door. Not even barriers up and the whole cast is soo nice but of course I especially love Matt. He's so nice and he was so funny at chatterbox and so far I've gotten 3 hugs from him(BSo he really should have won that category of arms you'd most like wrapped around you b/c his have been wrapped around me....grr) But yeah, the one word I think that describes that show is beautiful.
I was in the city today and walked by a guy with an Earth, Wind, and Fire shirt.
Oh now WERE you in the city? lol
sorry!
Yeah yeah sure you are...lol. Its fine. We were running around the entire day anyway.
Us too!
We did a couple circles around the area.
Okay..well..going to bed now..have to get up earlyish to catch the train back to CT....so..I'll post tomorrow at some point.

Oh, no Gregcam today either, well I have to entertain myself so I will watch "In & Out". I love this comedy, Kevin Kline is awesome and Greg plays his brother, who could ask for anything more?
I forgot Greg's in that.
