I think Greg Jbara is actually 1/10th Helium...
That must explain it.
Man, there is some serious thunderstorming going on down here. THE POWER BETTER NOT GO OUT. There will be murder.
Barb- Luckily everybody was ok. The teenager whose fault the accident was had a nasty gash in his arm with some metal or something in it. I was sick for about an hour, but luckily nobody was killed.
I hope you're ok Liz!
I swear that tush profile looked SO FAMILIAR....
Car accidents are scary... a friend up in Maine was killed the other night. Maybe this is why I haven't learned to drive yet!
Mamie- Thanks. I was thankfully not involved in the accident, but I ran with my family with towels, water, bandages etc just to hold until the police and ambulance came.

thank God no one was seriously hurt, Liz! And how kind of you and your family to do that.
Wonder if by any chance the use of a cell phone was involved in the accident?
I need to pee really bad and my right boob itches, just to keep everyone updated on my life. lol

A few weeks ago my niece was coming to see me and she was only a couple of blocks from here when a drunk driver turned right into her as she was crossing an intersection. It completely totalled her car and sent her to the hospital with a dislocated hip and a concussion. She was very lucky that it was the only injuries she had. ALSO - her car was a bright red Mustang. Her boyfriend happened to be visiting friends right next to that intersection. He spotted that red Mustang (or what was left of it) and knew immediately that it was her. He was right there calling cops and an ambulance.
I'm a horrible driver, and the road to my school is literally like satans road...there was a freakin' shooting onit, that does NOT happen in my dinky little town, and then one day there was a crash and one car was actually on top of another in the surrounding woods, and once I passed this car which was burnt to a crisp, and then the next day it tured out it was a coworkers...in summation I carpool...
BARB! lol, that's great.
liz, i'm so glad you're fine! (and in one piece!!)
Surprisingly it wasn't a cell phone. The boy doesn't have one! The eye witness said he came around a blind curve and instead of saying to his side he did the lazy thing and just stayed on the other side of the road, he hit a father and young daughter who were test driving a Jeep! The daughter was really shooken up and quite scared, she was crying histerically and had some scrapes and is undoubtedly going to be black and blue.
And a GIF...
i'm not so sure i want my learner's permit anymore!
i HATE, HATE, HAAATTE drunk drivers. i'm sorry, but they make me REALLY mad. one hit my aunt and her family, with a baby present. she had to go through MONTHS of recovery and physical therapy. thank goodness the baby wasn't hurt!!!
The woman who hit my niece was so drunk that she didn't even realize that she was in an accident. The cops thought that she had been knocked out in the collision. She wasn't - in fact, she wasn't even scratched. She was just drunk.
You know what time this all happened? 5:00 PM on a Sunday afternoon! Incredible.
The guy driving the car my friend was in was drunk. Didn't have a scratch on him, and my friend died. The world makes no sense. I'm glad I'm moving to NYC where I don't have to drive.
Make sure you ride the subway. Those taxis are DANGEROUS!

We had a drunk come CAREENING down our street last week at about 2am. We're not a major street either- in fact, virtually a dead end with woods at the base of the hill. He swerved to avoid slamming in to the trees and instead crashed through the neighbor's picket fence. Didn't stop, either. Just kept going until he came out the other end of the fence at the other end of their yard!
