Does anyone know the exact lines from the robe scene?
i just read WRQ's post on the softball game>> i really wanna go to one! do they run over the summer or is it over? and does greg go to every game?
I'm pretty sure they run through sometimes in July, but like I said, you can go to www.broadwayshowleague.com for a complete schedule. No one can answer for who goes to every game, I mean obviously he won't be there for his vacation. I still think it's a lot of fun regardless, but yeah...just like I said, it's def fun to chat for a couple of minutes but everyone is very into the game so that's the fun part for me. Maybe one of you will bring pom poms haha.
haha im excited. gotta look up their sched and then check mine!

Ok Thenardier here we go...this is as close to exact as I can get
...If its not allowed I'll take it off just tell me
Muriel: I'm beginning to think someone put alcohol in that champagne.
Andre:I fear you may be right.
Muriel:I'm sorry, I don't speak french.
Andre: Well I should...
*It starts to get explicit here kiddies*
Muriel:Oh yes...uh yes me too...Well i'd like to thank you for a lovely time...I'll never forget the generous hospitality of you showing me the sights of your little town or the heat of you riding me cross-eyed like some glorious bucking French steed.
Andre:Excuse me?
Muriel: It really is a charming place.
Andre: Yes, well perhaps the next time you pass this way I can show you the countryside, there's the most delightful little vineyard where you can once again wrap your legs around my head and squeeze it like a grape until the wine of lust flows from my eyes.
Muriel: what?
Andre: they make cheese too!
Muriel: so I doubt i'll be back this way again.
Andre: you are quite the woman of the world.
Muriel: No,No not really, i've just seen so much of it. Well, you know how it is, you open a map and close you eyes and point and think maybe there. You pack your bags full of dreams and you go, only those bags can get awfully heavy after awhile.
Andre: Maybe its time to leave them behind.
Muriel: My bags?
Andre: yes.
Muriel: They're Louis Vuitton.
Andre: Someone to help carry them then.
Muriel: That might be nice.
Andre: Or perhaps I could...
Muriel: yes
Andre: that is we might always...i'll call the porter.
Muriel: Good idea.

I think a couple of lines you posted go more like this:
"... like some glorious bucking French steed".
"... squeeze it like a grape until the wine of lust flows from my eyes."
Well, that cracked me up a lot. lol
I was just sitting around and thinking about how I have nothing to do tomorrow..and then BAM! I remembered tomorrow is GregCam day. Life is happy once more.
"... squeeze it like a grape until the wine of lust flows from my eyes."
Yep, that's it. That's my favortie line in the show

Indeed! GregCam days are happy, fun days for sure.
I better get me another good night's sleep.
:)
GregCam days are indeed very happy days! its funny how each reload you realize its another minute, but its not wasted!!!
Ooh, there may be some new developments in my schedule...the major reason I couldn't go down for softball and a show next Thursday is b/c we were supposed to be taking a family portrait(present for my Mom for her retirement). Apparently my dad called the place but they haven't called back...so if they don't call back...just two more obstacles to go...one, the fact we're leaving for Disneyworld on Fri(easy solution, promise Mommy I'll be all packed Wednesday night) and two, I may not have a car...might hafta figure out bus ride or how I'm getting there...hmm, I'll see.
But if it works out...one last softball game for me, DRS signing, and a show. I love Thursdays in the city!(I'll miss them...)
This thread keeps dropping down today and disconcerting moi...Anyway I was thinking about who to recast as Freddie and Lawrence once Lithgow and Norbert Butz depart ( yes jumping the gun, but amusing none the less) especially because the musical depends pretty heavily on two fantastic leads
My conclusions:
Greggory Jbara would be a superb Lawrence!
And I might get shot down on this one, but I think Jack Black would be the PERFECT Freddie, his voice, appearence and even his vocal intonations.
The end by Blucat500.
ugh! 4 more days of school (all final exams) and then i can start going to the city!
Blu - I would have to agree with both choices....though could we believe someone like Sherie Rene Scott would fall for Black?
i dont even wanna think about who will be replacing them. . lol.
gregcam tomorrow!! soo excited!
off to whip the chimp...
*Quick Spoiler*
Ah, but shes just conning them and pretending to fall in love with freddie...I maintain that Jack Black is brilliant casting
NOOOOOOOO YOU RUINED THE ENDING!!!!!
totally jk ive seen the show twice and im seeing it again in 9 days lol.
Go to the chatroom...its booming maybe we can usurp it and claim it in Greggory Jbaras name...oh and hello
what...
Dearest webcam/GJ lovers
I have been a LONGtime lurker of this thread (i.e. on any given wed. or sat. you might find me with one window on webcam and one constantly refreshing this thread...thankyou to whoever posted the link to the cam first!)but i have never had anything significant to post. Tonight, however, I was lucky enough to see DRS. Wow. It was the most fun, hands down, I have ever had at the theater; what a wonderful show. My spirits already sky-high, I decided to 'stagedoor' it, something I don't get to do very often. Everyone who came out to sign was incredibly generous, but Mr. Jbara far exceeded any expectations fans might have for a favorite actor. As came to sign my playbill, I, oh so smoothely (read: sarcasm)blurted, "Love your webcam!" much to my own mortification (oh the meanings that phrase could take on in a different situation). He was very sweet in asking for my BWW name, and explained some of the bandwith problems he has encountered at the theater. As I waited for the rest of the cast, I noticed that he took time with anyone who asked for a photo or had a question, actions that are not often seen by such talented actors. As he left I wished him a good night, and he took time to come back and say a quick hello again. Though this probably sounds like meaningless fawning at this point, I just thought he deserves all the recognition he can get, and that this was the right place to share. I have never left a theater feeling more elated, and I just wanted to thank you all for making me such a fan. What a wonderful night it has been!
All the best, and all the rest,
Monica
