On another note...do we know who's definetely extending/not extending their contracts come this October? I know there's been a lot of talk about JLY, but I was wondering about Daniel, Christian, and Bobby as well.

Racheal none of the guys have said anything about leaving, I will pots on myspace when they do and I am sure that Elle will post on big men in town and it will be posted on the jersey boys blog, so dont worry, you will find out when they say.

Another story: my mom's a realtor, and there are two realtors at her company named Sherry and Dawn. I kind of freaked out. A couple of days later, a client called my mom, and her name was Marianne. I freaked out some more :).

Wow, what are the odds on that? That is totally freaky (but in a cool way).

After reading smashingasian's post, I have "Dawn" playing in my head. :) I too hope everyone is in tonight for you!

Rachel, I am so happy that you got to meet Daniel! He sounds so sweet. I loved what you wrote about him and taking his time with the picture.

A quote that he had in an interview with the JB Blog really got to me, when he said that although the awards were amazing, that performing was really what made him happy. And that he knew that every day different people come to see the show and they all work so hard to make it a great experience for the audience.

I hope at least some of these four stay--I *love* them and their chemistry is insanely magical--for a little while longer. (This is making me start singing "Stay"). I would also love for them to take a break if they must, but to open the show in London (since there's been talk about that). Like what Idina's doing with Wicked. That would be awesome!

You know i would so love to stand in line for 4 hours, my mom thinks I am weird because I would but I told that is part of the fun of seeing the show, so maybe one of these days I will get to stand in line for 4 hour with one of you guys!!!

Well, I'm sure the producers know what an amazing thing they have going with the four leads that they have now, so hopefully they'll be able to work something out, even if, as Daniel said, it's not for another whole year. If they extend just a little longer it would be great, and give those of us who haven't seen the show yet more of a chance of seeing these amazing guys. Thanks for the info, popular_elphie!

So, I'm browsing another messageboard for an author, totally non-Broadway related, and one of the posters' names there is Sherry Baby. Everything does indeed revert back to JB.

I love that he offered to "help" sedate her, that is too funny/cute! I got to "know" Caroline through the Norbert love thread mainly, and then through being fans of Piazza as well. I hope she can make a comeback to BWW sometime.

It is equally adorable that he said he would be disappointed if you all couldn't make it. Man, you are going to have the greatest time!

Joe Pesci played Tommy DeVito? LOL! I love the story Rick Elice told at Christian's MySpace, about him being very mad they made him look so dumb in the show.

I think if Daniel tried to calm me down I would just get more excited :). I wish someone (or maybe even him) would video tape or record the show or something - someone should talk to Daniel about it! LOL.

I'm still going to say it: I wish I could be there! I keep replaying in my mind when Daniel told me that he was so sad that I can't make it, and that makes me smile :).

Reporting back from tonight's performance. Well... yesterdays. I got to see the full cast! It was a great show, and for me it was even better seeing it the second time around! Waiting the 4 hours for rush was totally worth it.

My parents dropped my sister and I off at the theatre so they could go find a parking spot. I don't know how long my sister and I waited until they showed up, but I was able to get a peek at the call board to see if the main boys were out, and.... they weren't! I was very excited and couldn't wait to get to my seat. While standing on the sidewalk, guess who I see strolling to the stage door, Daniel Reichard! At first I didn't know it was him because of his glasses then when he went in it hit me. Finally my parents showed up and we went in and got situated. The entire show was great. Cast and everything. I always get a kick out of the older women in the audience mouthing the lyrics and dancing in their seats.

John did really well considering how sick he was last week. His high notes were a little shaky, but none the less he was great. When he made his entrance he got a big applause from the audience and when he sat on the staircase... I was just like... "Whoa, JLY is right in front of me." I stagedoored and met all four of the guys who were extremely nice to everyone. They all made sure to autograph everyones playbills, posters, etc. and take pictures. I don't think I've ever met actors as gracious as these guys. The guard was saying that they loved doing this and it was their favorite part (besides acting of course haha). I also met Michael, and when I told him that he was my first "Frankie" he had the biggest smile on his face and said he was glad that I enjoyed his performance. I got pictures with all of them and maybe I'll post them tomorrow when I upload them.

The best part for me, besides meeting the boys was that John and Daniel recognized me from the front row! I was sitting in A2 next to my sister and parents. They were both like "I saw you sitting in the front row!" I actually don't remember what I said, I'm pretty sure I was gushing haha. That seriously made my summer. I loved how Jennifer Naimo announced, "He's coming, he's coming guys!" and everyone cheered. Then before I knew it I was blinded by flashbulbs and screaming old ladies. In all, today was one hell of a smashing day. Well worth the wait =]

I'm so glad you got to see John! It sounds like you had a great time (thats preeetty awesome that Daniel remembered you!) I look forward to seeing pictures.
