smashingasian, thanks for the great review! :) I'm so happy that you met the guys and saw John as Frankie this time. They all sound too good to be true, LOL. I hope you post your pictures.

Funny question, but was it obvious that John was straining a bit on the high notes, or did it strike you because you are already familiar with the show, etc.? I'm glad he's on the mend after being sick so long.

I loved reading this part: I loved how Jennifer Naimo announced, "He's coming, he's coming guys!" and everyone cheered. Then before I knew it I was blinded by flashbulbs and screaming old ladies.

I've noticed that the guys get to the theatre so early. I've seen cast members walking around almost eight hours before showtime!

Little tidbit about the Joe Pesci playing Tommy DeVito thing. In the movie "Goodfellas", his character is named Tommy DeVito because Joey got to pick the name for his character and decided to name him after his good childhood friend. Sorry...Goodfellas is like my favorite movie ever (behind The Godfather)

Perhaps a little insight into the cast of the Jersey Boys tour? From my good friend bdwaygirl...

NPG, I saw the real Frankie last night. At one point he had the current Four Seasons introduce themselves and where they're from. He mentioned how the guys he gets are always so good, it always opens doors for them. Then he said the one guy would be doing the JB tour! His name was Eric, but I don't recall his last name. Of course, I yelled out asking which one, but he didn't hear me.

Hooray, I bought the Jersey Boys cast recording today at Target! I'm happy that I finally bought it. JLY is dreeeamy.

It was either Jersey Boys, Tarzan, or Wicked (which I already have). So, obviously, the right choice was JB.

I've already heard Can't Take My Eyes Off You many times. It's actually one of my favorite songs. And...not because of JLY. Or Jersey Boys, either! I've loved it for a long time.

Oh and Alejandra- I saw that quote somewhere a while back, and I automatically thought of JLY too! I was thinking of including it in the letter I sent him, but then I forgot, :-P. I'm writing him again very soon though, so maybe I'll remember this time.

And yeah, Fallen Angel is a really beautiful song.

Rachel and I were talking on IM tonight and I asked her if she knew what "Fallen Angel" or what happened in the show before John started to sing it.

So can anyone tell us what happens before he sings it? I'm sure it's a spoiler, but we're curious.
