elle...I'll try and ask Daniel if he's recording tonight. I hope he is.

I'll make sure to do a full report for everyone when I get home either late tonight or tomorrow morning. I can't wait!

I am loving these fan pics. How they're posed, it almost look like you guys are Daniel's girlfriends. :) And I'm loving the tie on him....Rachel, I love the expressions on you guys' faces and the sign in the background looks fab.

Meryl, I forgot to mention it earlier, but Michael Longoria--how precious is your picture with him?! Adorable. And I'm totally impressed with how well John and everyone interact with the fans, even the fan mail!

NPG, have a blast! I can't wait to hear how it went (and good luck with the recordings and stuff!).

Michael is the coolest. He's so cute on stage when he does Pesci. When he runs on stage yelling "BOBBBEEEEYYYYY" it's the cutest thing ever... then he curses!

Those boys are probably the greatest when it comes to the fans. They really love what they do and they love their fans. The guard at the stage door was talking to us and said that meeting the fans was their favorite part of the show besides being in it haha.

Great article Alejandra. I love how JLY expresses how important education is. He used to listen to Run DMC... how awesome is that?

Meryl, those photos are so great! I'm so jealous you went back and got to see JB with JLY in it. That photo you got with him is so awesome. If I got a photo with him, I'd blow it up and put it on my wall as a poster!

I wish I could go to Daniel's concert! Video would be greatly appreciated! Hope everyone who's going has a great time.

Thanks for sharing the article, Alejandra! It was a good read. I loved reading what he used to listen to! JLY listening to Run DMC... haha I wonder if he had the adidas shoes? And he said George Michael, too... George Michael is one of my favorite singers :)

My favorite Joe Pesci/Michael Longoria moment...when he starts talking about Bob being a genius, doesn't he also start singing "Short Shorts" to Tommy? So cute.

LOL about JLY listening to Run DMC as a kid. I keep picturing him in his beautiful suits and ties these days, and it just seems incongruous.

kaibranch, that's awesome! Not only does he write back, but he's prompt about it too. Way too good to be true. Two other fans on the main board said that they got mail from him today also (and the word "sweet" was used there too). For a guy as busy as he must be, he seems excellent at staying on top of things.

I mailed a letter to John today. Hope it arrives there safely. Thanks for your help and advice, Kathryn!

Aw, that's great kaibranch! John is soo sweet, and really quick about writing back and stuff...I'm sending him another letter tomorrow, heh. Anyways, glad you got a nice surprise in the mail today.

**Edited to add...and speaking of which-one stamp on the main envelope (that I send to him), and 2 stamps on the SASE inside is enough if he was going to send a Playbill back, correct? And I've heard about people including thin pieces of cardboard so that there's less of a chance of stuff bending...can I just stick a piece in the main envelope, and John will know to send it back in the SASE? Is that what you guys have done? Sorry, it's the first time I'm actually asking for signed stuff back, so I'm a bit clueless.

Hahaha...of course.

The concert was great!! Saw Daniel after the show, and met some of his family (his sister Libby and his brother Michael aka "Coony") Celia Keenan-Bolgar of Spelling Bee fame was in attendance, as were Jersey Boys book writer Rick Elise and Marshall Brickman. Matthew Scott and Dominic Nolfi were backup singers and the Jersey Boys band accompanied Daniel the entire night.

He played a wide variety of songs, and his tale of his "Glory Daze" was hilarious. He sang some songs he did in Keansburg, which was fine by me! He also did some songs from "Radiant Baby", which I really liked. All in all, it was a great night, and afterwards he said he was going to do another show at Joe's Pub in the near future. So yaay!! for that.

My 10 year-old niece has never seen the show but after hearing the OBC CD, has become a big fan. She adores John and Daniel and figures they MUST be good people because they appear to be chocoholics like her!

Remember Daniel's "Snicker!" exclamation on the Broadway.com video? And then there is the photo of the chocolate candy bar in the background in that photo taken in JLY's dressing room.

She was all ready to mail them gourmet chocolates in the mail, until her mum advised her that people aren't going to eat something sent to them in the mail by someone they don't know. So now she's determined to mail them gift certificates for chocolate, or something.

At least that's what she wants to do THIS week. Her crushes don't tend to last long, so Danny and John may become last week's news very quickly.

Hi Tenessee Twang! Your niece's idea is awesome--I hope she sends them the gift certificate at least. That would be great, especially since she'd most likely get a "thank you" card from them.

I never noticed the candy bar photo in John's dressing room--that is cool! As for Daniel's "Snickers!" exclamation, I thought it was the cutest and most random thing to say at the time. Loved the "fan letter" he got too ("Hey Mr. Young, you were great...").

That has to be among the best backstage videos broadway.com has ever done.

the letter was not the best thing to read in the world, being it was my letter, at least I am pretty sure it was, i had sent it to daniel to give to john so thats why it would have been in his dressing room.
