That's cool about the Playbill. I saw the show a few weeks ago and I donated a few dollers. Anyone know what the other shows are selling? I keep on checking the JB Ebay page and they have some great things there. I would love to have the signed script.

Awesome about the Playbill Carole. I'm thinking of just borrowing some money to donate. At least it's for a great cause. Official John Lloyd Young Thread

Hey girls! I now have 25 friends and some of them are Lisa Marie Presley (she's Elvis's daughter!) & Shoshana Bean. I also added Ronnie Spector (The Ronettes) but I think she's not online now.

I hope I donate the money on time. When I was looking all the names, I noticed you girls and his younger sister Gillian! I was like "Aww, she's trying to help her big brother!"

I saw the show last night! My friend got a SRO ticket and his friend bought one for me!

It was amazing, as usual.

John was so nice and funny after the show last night. I love him.

We actually talked for a little bit.

I told him I did SRO and he had this huge smile on his face and said "You guys are so awesome! I could never stand for that long." Then I told him that I love the show but my favorite part is seeing him perform, and I told him that he was my favorite broadway performer and he gave me a hug and then thankes me. Then I told him that I would be coming back next weekend and I would give him my BC/EFA donation then. So he said he'd look out for me and that he would have a signed headshot for me.

I told my mom about the video and this is what she said "Oh well." John, if you're reading this I hope you know that my mom is NOT sweet. I hate her sometimes!

Some of you will get a bulletin that says "You know you're obsessed with JERSEY BOYS when.........."

Glad you had fun at the show! I did SRO once for Spelling Bee and even though the show lasts about an hour 45 minutes my legs were hurting me by the end off the show.

Kristina I'm sure John Lloyd would hug you if you saw him at the stage door!

I'm hopefully sending my donation this week - I got my first checks in the mail a while ago, and I'm really excited about them :).

hey everyone!
it's been a very long time since I've been on here (stupid school). Thank goodness for thanksgiving break!

this is off topic, but I was wondering how long John extended his contract for.

In early October, John said that he had extended his contract for "several more months." So that would be until early April/May?

thanks BrunetteBombshell! *hopefully* that means I'll get to see him, I still have to convince my parents to take me though.

Is anyone seeing Jersey Boys on tour?

I would love to see the tour! I said a few pages back that I might be going to college in chicago when the tour stops there so I might be able to see it there.

No problem! Hopefully your parents will take you and you'll get to see him. I'd like to see the show on tour, but I don't think any dates have been announced near my area.

Congratulations Erin!! That's great news. Official John Lloyd Young Thread

I have a question about the parade - is the one that's broadcast on NBC and CBS the same? I know Macy's shows on NBC, but does it also show on CBS? (Sorry if that sounds dumb, :-P)

No they are not the same broadcast. If you watch the NBC broadcast you will be missing Jersey Boys so if you want to see them you have to watch CBS.
