I've heard GBS, so I know the LYRICS are funny, but I had no idea what he did half the time except for what I've seen of rehearsal video and those old clips that used to be up on the Old Globe site.

hm...favorite parts. all of his scenes with John were great. At the show i went to he was ad-libbing all over the place. it was so funny. during one song of john's he did this motion that was really odd. it looked like he was flapping his arms. so, norbert, being his amazing self, mimics that exact movement and runs around the stage doing it in the next scene. it was so priceless. then he kept doing ad-libs making fun of some of sherie's lines. it was so great.

How do you know they were ad-libs?

That's one thing about this show.. I shouldn't wish for them to mess up or have something go wrong, but I almost want that to happen when I see this show so I can see them all improv.

ponine, did the French guy's lighter light in that scene he has with Muriel? It didn't when I was there, and I thought Gregory Jbara was adlibbing, but I could be wrong. He's wonderful!

It's nice to know Norbert's livin' up the fact that he can adlib now without it seeming out of place. Good for him.
