No word yet (havent gotten my mail yet) but I am starting to upload the site. I will let you know how it is going.

I was actually in the city for a few days last month (I was in Boston for something and decided to drop in randomly) to catch Slut and Altar Boyz.

I felt bad retiring the Norbert headshot, because that had been avatar for a year, but Kevin... oh man, do I adore him. Haha. He's right up there with Norbert for "favorite Broadway actors ever" now.

And I've been... uh... around. Altar Boyz and its actors has been consuming my life. SORRY!

As for now, Gav, the site will up be up but password protected. However, you and the cowebmasters will have access to check it out and make changes (as well as anyone else who REALLY wants to see it). Uploading is so far a pain but its going okay. As soon as Norbert gets back to me, it will unlocked for all.

Thanks Gav. Its been a ton of work truthfully. Researching and finding pictures for every thing Norbert has done on Broadway, Off Broadway, and on tour has been quite difficult to say the least. Consolidating quotes, interviews, and writing reviews has been time consuming as well. I still am not finished too. For example, I still have not found any photo for Thou Shalt Not with Norbert (Even Rent had many Norbert pics) in them so if anyone has some, I would greatly appreciate them. However, it has been a lot of fun. Though Gav, there are actually four co-webmasters. My girlfriend is number 4 but she provides more rah rah support than coding at the moment (^^) And I am only laying the groundwork. I am hoping the cowebmasters and I can organize different events. I am thinking of trivial contests, maybe a chat (if he is ever free), interviews, and maybe hearing some special, exlcusive quotes. I am hopeful its going to be great.

Edit: I cant believe I forgot there was no mail today lol. Oh well. I talked to Norbert after the show last week and I told him the site was 90% to which he said, "Alright!". So, hopefully, he is ready to send me the official okay any day now. I really do not want to post anything without his premission.

Well, ya know, Norb gets extremely tired sometimes! I bet, for the most part, that he usually signs everything and heads home for a nap or something.

Why not talk to him tomorrow or Sunday?

I have an idea!

We can do a few trivial contests, but maybe there can be a super one where the questions are harder and complicated...and then whoever is the winner wins a free ticket to the show.

Just an idea to consider.

I know there was a pic of Norbert in Thou Shalt Not in the Playbill with the "Norbert Leo Butz quiz" I don't know if you can use it, but it is around, I think it may be at Curtain call though, he has flowers and a wifebeater.
Also there is one on Theatremania.com of him with Debra Monk, that one is definately in the show.

The article is three years old, but really interesting.

I figured they were both copyrighted, but maybe you could use your status as "official Norbert webmaster" to gain permission.


ETA: I'm also afraid it is unlikely anyone has a "legal" pic of him "in" the show.
