So, Chrys and I saw DRS and I acted very childish at the stage door. I'm just so sorry about it. I apologize to Norbert and his fans. I offended Thespian Geek greatly and I'm so sorry about that. I know what I did was wrong and I'm just so sorry.

This makes me angry...
I read the article Alejandra so kindly gave the link to AND the interview in the Times AND the little snippet of an article in Newsweek. Here's the thing. They each keep mentioning and alluding to the fact that Dirty Rotten Scoundrels will go head to head at the Tonys this year with Spamalot. The exact way The Full Monty went up against The Producers. The thing is, they all clearly show favoritism. You open up to page six in the arts section, and there is a ten question interview with Norbert with a teeny tiny black and white picture. The whole thing takes up maybe 1/3rd of the page. Then, you turn to page nine, and theres a huge, bright colorful picture taken from Spamalot. But wait, you turn to page eleven and there is a bright colorful picture of Sara Ramirez, taken from SPAMALOT.
Example number two: Newsweek. There is a two and a half page article on Spamalot. What is the rest of that half page? The ever so adorable teeny tiny article on Norbert.
My point is, it just seems like they've already made there choice. I mean, it is understandable for Spam to get more press because of the cast, but I'm so sick of hearing them compare the two. And to not even give them equal representation...What's that about?!

DRS is the far superior show. I leave it up to the Tony voters to remember that.

hahaha. i didn't see him in it, no, but i have the cast recording!!! he rocks that role like it's nobody's business!

Norbert was phenomenal as Jamie in L5Y. The cast recording is brilliant (the only thing I miss having on the cd is the novel excerpt reading!). I have L5Y on *constant repeat*.
My local university will have a production of L5Y in April. Yay!

I saw DRS yesterday at 2pm and it was so funny. Norbert should get a Tony for this show. (I'm going to post a full review of DRS, Movin Out and Twelve Angry Men when I get home from school tomorrow.) Also after the show ended I went to the stage door and got to meet Nobert, he signed my playbill and my dad got a photo of him and me together which really made my day. I show the photo when my dad e-mails it to me.
The towel waving reminded me of a Per?nist rally. I kept chanting "Evita!" whenever they'd pan to the crowds. - SM2

Thanks for those reviews on the main board. I liked Movin' Out a lot (I saw it on tour last month). I'm sorry you missed John Selya as Eddie, who is reportedly absolutely *amazing,* but I've heard great reviews on his understudy.
And of course, I'd LOVE to see DRS. What was your favorite number/part of the show?

I love Great Big Stuff I was singing it all day yesterday and today. I hope Norbert will be on Letterman I would be so happy if he was.
