Awwwwww. Chrys is quoting little ol' me? Aw shucks. *wipes tears*
But yeah, you get what I'm saying. Raul won't be able to get all his aggressions out. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy as pie that Raul will be starring in a big Broadway musical but I would've never thought of him in such a family-friendly role.
But Norbert gets to use these comedic abilities that have been hidden for his whole career. He's shameless in this role and I love every second of it! Norbert's the one to beat. I can't wait to see DRS again!
Emcee, no puppy dog eyes! Raul will surely be competition. Actors like Raul make material better just by doing what they do. He'll definetly put some fear in Norbert just because he's a terrific actor but Norbert must win! You saw him, you know.
thespian geek, did your friend like Spamalot? And is your friend a Monty Python?
>>Actors like Raul make material better just by doing what they do.
Yep. Raul can pull off anything.
I think that statement also applies to Norbert. Actors like Raul and Norbert can both do wonders with whatever they're given. :)

Raul can do ANYTHING. Wedding dresses, angry gay men, junkie in suspenders, transexual Brazillian dwarf - he can do ANYTHING. Even if the Chitty part isn't the greatest, and probably isn't Tony worthy, he's going to make it great. I guess it'll be nice for him to do something light after what he went though in the Spring.
BUT GO NORBERT! TONY!

Woo hoo! Transexual Brazillian dwarf *always* cheers me up...
*grabs a pint of Ben and Jerrys*
No nervous breakdowns allowed!
My favorite ice cream flavor is coffee, btw. Right now in my freezer I have the cookie dough flavor.
Is there a Raul Love/Appreciation thread? I love versatile actors who can disappear within their roles, and he is probably the finest example.
Did y'all read the wonderful Q&A with John Lithgow on broadway.com? He had some great things to say about Norbert and Sherie, and DRS as a whole.

No, and I'll explain why later.

Um, y'all, this here Norbert thread was on, like, page 5. We can't have that! LOL.
If you haven't visited lately, there are updates to the official DRS Web site, including new photos and a new article with John and Norbert. Woo! New Norbert-ness!!

I might be seeing DRS again this weekend! Woo-hoo!
With me! Woo-hoo! I heart Chrysanthemum!
Alejandra-Thanks for bringing it back to page 1! Norbert deserves nothing less!
Thespian Geek-Don't worry, time flies. You'll be at the Imperial soon enough and hopefully Norbert will have his Tony when you go! *does ancient Indian Tony dance for Norbert to win*(not that he needs my help)
On a DRS thread, Emcee was saying that Norbert had her from the second he stepped foot on stage. So true! I was shaking in my seat waiting for his entrance. When that beautiful man entered I lost it! Not many people joined in with me but I gave him the entrance applause that he deserved. The crabby old couples around me were giving me dirty looks(how fitting) but I didn't care. It was Norbert! And I HAD to howl for all his songs! If you can't handle a little woo-wooing, stay home!
Can you imagine how lonely I was when he was in Wicked. Nobody joined me! But I couldn't control myself. I think that's why he never came out through the stage door afterwards. When the crazy girl woo-hoos, he hides.
Chrysanthemum and Broadway Betty will be out of their cages this weekend!

Oh no, Betty! *bows head*
What Broadway Betty failed to mention is whe have a score to settle. Of course, I know I'm right about something, and well...she is hasn't figured that part out yet.
And yes, I do intend to partay this weekend. It will be my last hurrah before midterms.
Chrysanthemum is wrong! She doesn't want to admit that she's wrong but she knows it! We'll just have to take it off, huh? But I don't think it's neccessary to go that far because she's WRONG!
We're gonna have a blast but we'll certainly be fighting a bit about this subject.

Betty Betty Betty. (Yes, when you notice the time of my post, you will see I didn't get any sleep like I was supposed to.)
Anyways, you are sorrily mistaken. And I want nothing more than to prove to you how wrong you are. Gosh, I didn't think someone who was as stubborn as I was existed. I'm right and you're wrong!
So, I'm getting my butt up at the crack of dawn (well, not reallly) and we are going to pray to win the DRS lottery. I hope one of us stumbles upon a great streak of luck. Neither one of us seem to be so fortunate. But, I'm convinced it will all change tomorrow!!!
One more thing...I apologize for having to delete my sig that I stole from you, Betty. I just felt the need to make a statement how smoking is bad for you!

Just for fun...
Ah yes, he looks wonderfully cuddly there just the way I want him. How is he on stage, physically?

I'm not sure if it is just me, but it appears to be the man is powdering his nipple! It makes me want to break out into "leave your troubles outside. So life is dissapointing? Errr? Forget it. Whe have no troubles here. Here life is beautiful. The girls are beautiful. Even the orchestra is beautiful." Awww, I love that show...
Where is the photograph from? If it's a magazine, I'd love to buy it just so that I can have a picture of him shirtless at this size.

He's wonderful. Cuddly and cute, but also shameless and amazingly funny.
