Yay, congrats to Norbert, Sherie, Joanna and DRS as a whole. :)

Would anyone be willing to write a transcript or summary, for those of us unfortunate souls who miss it, or don't live in the viewing area? I love Norbert & Sherie and am dying to know what they said.

Wendy, here is the schedule posted on the Web site:

"On Stage" airs Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., and again from 7:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

I will try to give some summary from the "On Stage" but I'm not able to see it until tomorrow night.
So much congratulations on the Outer Critics Awards to everyone! They so deserve them!
I got Norbert and John Litgow to sign my playbill at the stage door today. It was matinee time so I tried not to bother them, I got to chat with John for a minute about little tweaks they are doing and that I love the show. It was really fun.
I can't wait for Wednesday!

I'm so excited about tonight! Can you picture Norbert selling the jewelry? In his "on the train" gay voice-"Joan, that looks gorgeousssssss on you!" They're gonna perform! I'm so happy!

smartpenguin-How many times have you seen DRS?

I wonder how the lottery will work on Wednesday cuz of the block party. They're calling it a block party but what's going on besides them signing the cd? Hmm...

QVC tonight, Drama Desk noms tomorrow, DRS block party Wednesday!!! Damn, that's a good week!

I think I read that Jbara's band will be playing on Wednesday as well. I'm so excited for QVC as well, I wasn't going to watch until I heard there were "performances"
I'm happy!
Norbert was really cool at the stage door, so was John. I felt funny I wanted to get all the cast to sign my playbill but I flet funny bothering "Accordion Guy" and "Hot Brown Haired Girl"

I just got my Dirty Rotten Newsletter informing me about the free cd giveaway on wed. and now i'm depressed. I hate that i live so far away. *kicks the ground* Stupid Orlando.

I just got the same newsletter..it says Norbs, Sheri and the show were nominated for Drama Desk awards...I thought the nominations were being announced tomorrow??!!

That was a complete waste of time! That stupid host mentions Norbert once(I counted) and it was for "dirty rotten guys like us"-that's it! WTF!!!

Yes, that was disappointing. Everytime she said John Litgow and Joanna Gleason I wanted to scream and Norbert and Sherrie! But I was not expecting greatness, I was actually pleasantly surprised that they staged the numbers.

I had a feeling Norbs and Sheri wouldn't be there--they both have young children and alot of their numbers would be too racy for the QVC crowd. I did think the QVC host really sold the show, though...they can sell anything! Gregory was adorable.

I don't even know what to say right now...

*sigh*

What a blasted waste of my time. The host was completely clueless. Oh, did she *annoy* me! And Joan Rivers is not exactly my favorite person, either. The best clips (like Dirty Rotten number) were less than 10 seconds long. She barely mentioned the show...and clearly did not know Norbert's name.

Thank God for the utter coolness of Gregory Jbara or I would gone completely mad. LOL.

I agree, it was a bit of a disappointment, but maybe a few more people will see the show because of this and then in turn fall in love with Norb and Sheri. I don't know.
Just trying to find some positives.

Only two seconds of a clip of Norbie. Why the heck wasn't he there?!?!? My heart's broken. Some of that jewelry was nice--but so dang expensive!!!

I have to see the show again now. Anyone looking for a lotto partner for the Wednesday matinee? There's probably going to be alot of people there but I MUST see it again!
