Wow, Chrys--how many times have you seen the show now? *envious*
LOL.
Pinky--John Lithgow's message on track 17 is a warning that the next few tracks are spoilerish and give away the ending of the show.
That actually sounds hilarious, and appropriate for a show like DRS!

The same amount as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!
Last night made three. I actually hadn't seen it since it opened, so it was nice to see the show in a "finalized" state. I didn't stay to talk to the cast becuase it was raining, and I didn't have an umbrella. But, I'm gonna go next week for a cd! I am so freaking excited that they are GIVING them away! I think it's a brilliant move on their part.

Posted: 4/21/05 at 10:46amI just read this whole thread, I just can not get enough Norby! I have seen DRS twice but must go back, its just absolutely hilarious. More Norbert! More Norbert!

Make that "sob session" a party of 3!
How much would I have to pay someone to get me a CD and send it lovingly to me????????????
PS: Although I am happy for Chrys getting to see DRS and Chitty 3 times each, I must admit I am also slightly green with envy.
Okay, make that slightly more than slightly!

So I get to bump Norby back to the first page and brag about winning the DRS lottery again all at once, well, that's a lot of pressure.
I saw DRS for the third time, middle of the front row and it was AWESOME again. Can't wait to get the cast recording on Weds. They really played up the timing tonight. Ruprecht was out of this world by really playing up every gag in the scene, Norbert even did this crazy thing where he stared into the feret's eyes. Great Big Stuff may have had even more energy than I've seen before, it was killer. Norbert only got entrance applause from the woman to my side and me though, I wish audiences would pick up on that a little more. :) Oh well, hopefully around TONY TIME!

There were more doing the lottery than last Friday, but still no where near as many as the other lotteries, I think this show may have been sold out as well, it looked that way before I became transfixed.
I have yet to build up the courage for a stage door visit, this is my 15th show and every time I think about it and kind of chicken out, I worry about what to say and if I'd just babble like an idiot trying to talk to Lithgow, Gleason, or Norbert.
Any pointers on stage dooring (new word?) would be appreciated. :P

Posted: 4/22/05 at 11:51pmWould anyone have insight as to how many people would be trying for the lottery next Saturday nite, 4/30? And it begins at 6, correct? What time is the earliest I could enter? Thanks in advance..

wendy72: The earliest you can enter is 5:30, they draw at six. There have been about 30 people who entered the last two times I tried. I would think next Saturday would be more than that with the CD giveaway and being the weekend, but probably still less than 50 giving you a 50/50 chance to get in.
Evelyn: He is still very curvy, cuddly and cute.

Pinky-The DRS on QVC thing starts @ 10pm est. The commercial said "musical performances"-not performance, but performances. YES!!!
Alejandra-Yeah, Norbs and Sherie are doing an interview for NY1's OnStage this weekend. I don't get NY1 up here but my Grandpa is taping it for me. Yay! And thanks for the article!
Chrys has convinced me that academics aren't as important as Norbs and DRS, so I'll be going to the block party after all. YAY!

Adding to this week's events-Drama Desk nominations will be announced on Tuesday morning and will be held on May 22nd. PBS will air the awards on the 25th and a few more times after that.
I'm almost certain that Norbs will run away with the award but we'll have to wait and see. Harvey is hosting again this year, it's sure to be a blast. I wonder if we can attend? *goes to check DD ticket prices*

Broadway Betty: did you find those prices?
The QVC thing will have "performances"? That is heavenly, shall be programed now!
I guess I'll see all of you guys Wednesday, I'm getting more excited every minute.
Sirius Satrlite radio did a DRS program last night, played a lot of songs and interviewed Yazbeck. I signed up for the free trial, but only heard about three lines of the finale. I'm now constantly listening to see if they play it again. Yay Wednesday!

Yes I did, and I'm not too excited anymore. Gold seats are $750 and regular tickets are $175. I guess that idea just went out the window! If I'm going to shell out that kinda dough, it's gonna be for the Tonys. PBS it is.

Not that it's a surprise, but I thought I'd tell you guys that Norbert was nominated for an Outer Critics Cirlce award along with Denis O'Hare(yay!), Raul, Cheyenne, and Tim Curry. Sherie was nominated for best actress and DRS has 6 nominations.
Does anyone else have the awards season fever? I DO! I do I do I doo-oo!
