When I first met him I was really shy and didn't know what to say excpet "OMG you were great!" and "Can I have my picture taken with you?" But he was so nice. My avvy as you can tell is of me and Norbie. You can't see it but he put his arm around me. :) That is a nice picture of you and Norbert BTW. Also if you go into the fanphotos you can find my picture of me and Greg Jbrara.

aah greg! love him! lol. when i first met him i wasnt buds with him so i didnt ask for a pic. now we email back and forth all the time and he wont be tehre when i see it! so im gonna make a special DRS stage door trip over the summer. lol.

You email with Greg Jbara? Did you know him before the show?

Also, Norbs is contracted thru Feb..but maybe he'll stay on?

yeah i think ive got 15+ emails from him over the past couple weeks. awesome guy, absolutely hilarious. gave me a shoutout on his webcam once too. and i didnt know him before DRS

im soo glad its thru feb. ill get to see it more than 3x then! lol.

lol id die if i got an email from norbie!!!! i wish he had a public email! lol. norbie is just amazing....**daydreams about going to her inbox and norbert leo butz pops up in the sender area** thats my most wanted broadway email, from my fave actor, norbie. lol. maybe one day... lol. but gregs such a nice guy. hes definitely one of my faves under norbie!! so bummed i wont get to meet him but i still get to see norbs so oh well! ill make a trip to nyc to see greg. nyc is only 40 min away. lol.

I just got home from DRS. Like we don't know this already, but....Norbert = BRILLIANT !!! This was my 2nd time seeing it and it was still as fresh as ever and is just one of those show you never tire of. When Norbert walked out onto the stage I thought the crowd would go more wild than they did....I don't think some even knew who it was...jeez !!! That didn't last long. By the last number the crowd was insane.When Norbert and John finished their last song and Norbert sits back in the lounge chair John stands and bows to him and the crowd were on their feet !!! The place was full of screams and applauds that seemed like it never was gonna end. Norbert jumps up on John hugging him. It was priceless and another unforgetable night at the theater. I wish you all could've been there. Watching Norbert tonight and having seen all the other nominees performances in that category..he blew them all away and deserved this TONY more than any of them.

GREAT night. I've seen the show a few times, and it just gets better and better. Norbert was brilliant this evening, and the energy, especially at the end, was thrilling!

(oh, and Jerry Seinfeld sat two rows behind me...and laughed quite a bit throughout the show. In case anyone wants to know.)

oh, and this was my 'report' to someone from a PM I just sent...

When he first came out onstage the applause were a little stronger than usual, but not overly enthusiastic, which disappointed me a little.

But, after he and Lithgow sing the final Dirty Rotten Scoundrels song, they are supposed to sit down in lounge chairs. Norbert did, but Lithgow reached for the glass (prop) and raised it to Norbert in a toast. He then applauded Norbert, and at that point the audience started applauding wildly, and then gave Norbert a standing ovation. The cast also made a fuss over him at curtain calls. It was all very touching, and lots of fun!!

Thank you both for these great reports...sounds charming and glad to see this show is finally catching on with the glitterati (Seinfeld). NYadgal--in what row and on what side of the stage were you sitting?

I think all us Norbs lovers need to buy the first 10 rows of center orchestra and give him the type of entrance applause he was given at the end of the night, whatya say?

Wendy-We need to do that! Get all those stuffy old people out of center orch and have some Norbert fans in the house. I always give him plenty entrance applause even when I'm alone. The second time I was there, the first or second row was full of girls who were big Norbert fans and they brought posters snd held them up like they were at a boy band concert or something. I wasn't alone in my cheering that day, lol.

There were some fans (girls, mostly) in the mezzanine who whooped it up when he got undressed for his 'love scene'... cute!
