NORBIE WAS AMAZING LAST NIGHT!!!!!
AND I SAW HIS GIRLS AT THE STAGE DOOR!!!!! SOOOO ADORABLE!!!!
i sent him a gift basket not too long ago and asked him if he received it, he asked what was in it, he took a quick think and laughed and said yes! i got that one! thank you! thank you so much!
((sigh)) he looked right into my eyes...
anyway, he was amazing! added things that i hadn't seen the other two times i saw the show. right after DRN the audience exploded, seriously, we clapped for 5 minutes, norb burst into laughter in the middle of john's line, it was hilarious.

broadway_betty- Yep, they do have the programs now. I really wanted to buy one but didn't know that they were selling them until after the show when about 30 people had them.

When do I always rag on anything you post? It's just the ridiculous amount of !!! screws up the page and that's the second time someone's done it. It's annoying.

xxnewgirlxx-Your fears are totally valid, not because they will come true, but we all have those fears when it's someone we really want to see and they've been recently ill.
Never fear, I think Norbs will be in, because he starts his vacation one day later--- and he won't want to let down his fans.
And...Teri Hatcher was in town last week..when will she be seeing Norbs in DRS? Cabaret reunion!

..what was in the gift basket you sent to Norbs? (sorry to pry..)
..did seeing and speaking with Norbs meet your expectations?
..how crowded was the stage door?

-Joe Cassidy was great as Andre. He was no Greg, though. He didn't really do anything to make the part his own as much as he was just trying to get through the show without making any mistakes or disappointing all the GregHeads (i.e. myself. lol) he was very good, and if I wasn't a massive Greg fan I wouldn't be disappointed at all. lol.
-I was in front mezz, 5th row center. They were great! I prefer the mezz in most cases actually.
-The gift basket was basically a lot of joke gifts that played off jokes that were in DRS. Such as soap so he's not so dirty..just stuff to keep him entertained and hopefully he enjoyed my utter corniness. lol. I put many things in there so I can't really remember what.
-Having already met Norbie twice before the third time was pretty good, my second time was definitely the best. He isn't allowed to take pictures anymore apparently, neither is John. He was in a bit of a rush because his daughters were waiting for him. (they are f-ing adorable!!!)
-The stage door was pretty crowded. I anticipated this due to the hype of the Tony's so I purposely got aisle seats so as to get out as quick as possible and be right at the front. They all signed for everybody though, so that was fine. Sherie and Joanna never came out. That wasn't a surprise, though.
-I did take a bunch of pics and will scan them once I get them developed.

Just an FYI- Mr MArtin is in TO shooting the sequel to Cheaper By the Dozen. IF he had wanted to see the show he would/could. NY is like a 55 min flight.( Course I am also hearing BAD things about the remake oF The Pink Panther Tender egos are prb @ issue here.

Scoundrel, I was glad to read the stage door was crowded, that makes me very happy for Norbs and the rest of the DRS cast/crew.
I'm also counting my lucky stars that I was able to meet Norbert and take pics back in April! (Even though the pictures will never see the light of day as I look like a complete goober in them.) :)

Haha! Isn't that sad, my one brush with the Norbster and I ruined it by being completely star struck! I know it must be so shocking to read that, since I normally exude such maturity and coolness.
