OK, I'll admit that the sinking scene montage was incredible. But I'm still bitter about Good Will Hunting.

I think tonight Melanie Grifith is firmly in posession of the floating devices.

TheGa, I concur. At least it still got screenplay and supp actor, though.

The only part I really like about Titanic, in retrospect, was Propeller Man when the ship is sinking. And I know you know who I'm talking about. That was great. For probably the wrong reasons.

I think that year, Kate Winslet and Minnie Driver were each holding the flotation devices.

Um I just caught up on the convo and I will kindly caution everyone, ahead of time, on not lusting after my husband, Don Cheadle. I am extremely territorial when it comes to him. Thank you. Updated On: 2/27/05 at 10:04 PM

Well Emmy looks pretty tonight, although it's evident that bosom she heaved in the movie has since disappeared.

Was it Helen Hunt who beat Kate Winslet?
Propellor man was hilarious. So was that weird Irish lady cooing about 'The magical land of TirNaNog...'

Anyway, back to this year. Did Clint bring his mommy this time?

Beyonce's buttering him up so she can play Norma - the role she was BORN to play.

Well, Beyonce's not horrible (although she was a bit shaky at first) but I still wish it was Minnie.

Yeah, apparently Beyonce is singing Believe from The Polar Express as well. That'll be interesting I'm sure...it'll be hard for me to get Josh Groban's voice out of my head during that one...

Beyonce sounds terrible singing this, too.

And do they really have a "phantom" walking her down the stairs? TACKY.

Okay, she sounds better towards the end.

That guy in the Phatom mask helping her down the stairs - cheesetastic.

She sounds great, looks stunning. The song was pointless in the context of the film however, even as credit music.
