OMG, I love that picture.
Pleasant dreams.
Okay...
The show started off pretty will with Morgan Freeman finally winning after many decades (even though it should have had Clive Owen's name on it). Then, Blanchett won her well-deserved statuette. The screenplay trophies, for once, went to the right people.
My heart goes out to Bening, Staunton, and Winslet, all of whom were robbed by Swank's underwhelming performance. Biggest surprise of the night: Foxx won Best Actor. Kudos to Foxx, but DiCaprio and Cheadle were more deserving.
And a heartfelt congrats to Mr. Eastwood and "M$B".
Broadway86, I basically agree with all you have said....
I don't think Foxx was a surprise at all. I don't think it was necessarily deserved, but that's two completely different issues.
Rath-
Sorry about that. I was kidding. Foxx was probably the only locked winner of the night. I agree, though, that it was completely undeserved.
Ah. Okay then. :)
Being into the stock market, all I could think about was what a bad choice Gap vs Banana Republic was in Chris Rock's monologue. Gap owns Banana Republic. Do your homework Chris.

Thank you.
