"..Why do parents give that as a gift? Yikes!"
Simple-because the kids can't afford it.

i got a bass amp for graduation. my brother got rims for his car. my friend got a guitar. my neighbor got an x-box.
i've never heard of anyone around here getting a nose or boob job or any kind of plactic surgery as a graduation gift...

A girl I went to high school with came back to school after the summer on the first day of grade 12 with a nose job. Apparently she and her mother got nose jobs together as a mother-daughter binding thing.
She was stunningly gorgeous before...very mediocre after.

Perhaps that was her mother's plan all along? :)

Posted: 5/25/07 at 2:37amThat reminds me of how drastically different Jennifer Grey looks now. I thought she was beautiful before her nose job. Now she looks like everybody else.

Did you ever see Jennifer Grey in that tv show "It's Like, You Know?" It was on for maybe 10 minutes, you didn't miss much if you've never heard of it, but one of the things was that Jennifer Grey played herself on the show (she lived in the same apt complex or something?), however no one reognized her because of her new nose, she'd like scream "NOSE JOB" at them and such. Gotta love a woman who can poke fun at herself like that...
Now, Ashlee Simpson on the other hand- I love her new nose. Love it!
