I'm a Republican, and even I thought Hillary gave a great speech.
She also looked beautiful. (Not that THAT matters!
)
She was great. Lets hope they don't beat up on her too much tomorrow. She could not have been more humble and I believe she was sincere. What more do these people want from her? She is a GREAT public speaker and a smart and classy woman.
However, she never said that Barack was ready to lead. She never said anything about how she admired Barack. The speech was mostly about her. It was a great speech. Great for her.

Yeah, what's his name on CNN said that people could find a way to find fault with her, but that she was a class act.
I agree with you romantico. I really think she sounded sincerely humble.
And I think Michelle's smiles were sincere!
I hope the convention really does help to unite the party.
She put the nail in the coffin of the misguided PUMA movement.
If you love Hillary Clinton, you must now vote for Barack Obama.
If you vote for John McCain, she does rejects you.

I agree. I was never not going to vote for Obama.
Of course, CNN has the WORST example of Hillary fan on right now.
Just Brilliant!!!Tears and more tears....I just love Hillary...
Yeah, the "who was it you were fighting for?" message was brilliantly done.

Oh Christ. This lady could NOT have been worse! She was a total buzzkill for CNN.
It was easily the best speech she has ever given in her life. I loved the Twin Cities comment. Perfect!
The expression on her face spoke volumes: No regrets. No resentment. She's made history. She's left an indelible impression. She's a trailblazer. Now, let's forge ahead.
I loved the comment about her mother being born before women could vote for president and her daughter got to vote for her own mother for president. Just perfect.
WOW! that was an insanely amazing and incredible speech senator clinton just gave. she was on fire, she was passionate, she moved me even more than michelle obama did last night. there was no other motive, she was just pouring her heart out and begging people to not make the wrong decision by voting mccain.
and she delivered some fantastic lines that are sure to be repeated for weeks to come... i especially loved the "bush & mccain twin cities" line.
HILARIOUS.
Did you see Bill repeating, "I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you" as Hillary took the stage? Then, he teared up. It was very sweet. Despite his sexual straying throughout their marriage, I believe he has always loved her and that she is his rock. He was obviously ready to pop with pride while watching and listening to her.
There's no way she could have done that well, if she didn't believe it. There was too much passion in that speech.let's hope unity is finally here, because if that speech didn't do it, nothing will!

I think that's what we've been seeing these past few months--Bill's love for Hillary. It's made him vulnerable. And he's made some mistakes--but I think out of love and pride for Hillary.
LOVED the traveling pantsuits line.
another thing i loved... and this is something i argue with my aunt about all the time (shes the only other dem in my family, and a hillary gal)... i loved when hillary said "were you in this for me? or the soldier, the mother with no insurance, etc..."
i ask my aunt that all the time. were you just voting because you like hillary as a person? or do you support the ideals she stands for? because they are the same as obama's. how in the hell could you vote mccain?
i loved that line from hillary's speech... and i do believe this speech will help unite the party. it has to. it was so powerful.

oh... and NO WAY, NO HOW, NO MCCAIN!
That will be the Democrats slogan thanks to Hillary.
NO WAY, NO HOW, NO MCCAIN!
Bumper stickers, yard signs,t-shirts,etc.
Thats the message!
Her best speech ever! Amazing, the Hillary I missed when during the primary. Loved the video-speech hated the pant suit.
Loved she didn't include wife in her accomplishments. Loved her McCain quips.
She rocks!
Those PUMA people were right wing operatives. The leaders have donated money to McCain.
No way, no how, no McCain!

Skeeved me OUT. Made my flesh crawl. Not helped by the "jaw slack in wonderment" thing he's been overworking since 1991. That's seriously past its freshness date. And finally, thanks to his slack-jaw/open mouth, we get to see how often his tongue drifts left and he CHEWS on it. Idina Menzel was on to something when she leaned toward Bill when he was seeing RENT and exhorted him to "MOO with me sir." All he needs is a mouthful of hay to complete the look.

I thought Hillary was magnificent. I was beaming the entire time!
Phyllis...you're talking about the delegate interviewed immediately after the speech, correct? She was a real Debbie Downer, wasn't she? Sheesh.
