I admit to having a fantasy that combines the gay US athletes doing a Queer Nation kiss in during the opening ceremonies and then the Navy Seals flying in their black helicopter and scooping them out of there.

Too little, too late.

I am not interested in having them simply suspend a law so that the Olympics will not be impacted.

The global community needs to stand firm against any of the discrimination laws.

It's getting insane in Russia. But as with the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean, I fully expect the US government to exercise total complacency on the issue.

I want to apologize for my old off-topic post about Michelle Kwan commentating on these Olympics. This was not the right thread for it. As for this topic I wish these issues would be resolved.
