this is one of my favorite video clips!
Phyllis & Roseanne have lunch
"Burt Reynolds once asked me out. I was in his room."
<--- LOVES Phyllis Diller.
<--- LOVES her too.
Saw her in Nunsense in San Fran in '88.
<--- We LOVE her too.
"Burt Reynolds once asked me out. I was in his room."
LOL! Love her!
Our love of Phyllis Diller is genetic, I think.
Here is a photo of my mother in 1977 dressed as Phyllis for a costume party. She won a prize that night, too. (She's with my Dad, BTW.)
And just to show you what a great sport my Mom was, here is a photo of her (again with my Dad) as she REALLY looked at the time:
Those are great pics miss pennywise!

Wish I could make this larger, it's a fabulous collage!
Thanks, Glebby. They were a gorgeous couple...inside and out.
Jane, for you (from the other Phyllis thread):
thanks Penny. I still wish I could make it really large-the detail work in this is really great!

Fromage, that was my grandparents' "summer" cottage...even though this picture was taken in October!
I think it's great that my mother was so lovely in real life, but didn't mind "de-glamorizing" herself for fun.
Here's another photo from the actual party. She's with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, a woman (to my mother's right) and seven men who spent the entire party kneeling on little roller boards!
And another of her "out of costume":

I WANT TO GO TO THOSE COSTUME PARTIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And find 7 men prepared to stay on their knees for the entire event.
I was expecting a response like that one, Mrs. M. I'm never disappointed on BWW!
She is a very classy woman. I have also heard her play the piano and she is PHENOMENAL! What a truly great lady! Miss P- LOVE the pics of your mom and dad. They seemed like a lot of fun! mom
Fang wasn't invited to the party?
Hep, I suppose my Dad was "Fang"! LOL!
S-Mom, when you said she was classy and played the piano, I thought you were talking about MY mom. I was thinking, "How did she know my mother played the piano?" Then I figured it out!
