#4PROJECT RUNWAY 2010
Posted: 1/14/10 at 10:10pmWell, TECHNICALLY, it's up to both of them.

I really liked the stuff they showed from the guy who said he liked vintage. That red and black dress was gorgeous.

Posted: 1/14/10 at 10:13pmI was really impressed by a LOT of their work. I have a feeling this may be the most talented season of designers yet...

#8PROJECT RUNWAY 2010
Posted: 1/14/10 at 10:59pmI could definitely see Seth's dress hanging in the window at hot topic.
#9PROJECT RUNWAY 2010
Posted: 1/14/10 at 11:00pmI'm so glad they're back in NYC (and I imagine Tim Gunn is too though his complaints about LA last season were priceless).
#10PROJECT RUNWAY 2010
Posted: 1/14/10 at 11:42pmThe one girl's dress (Asian, sorry, i don't remember her name) made it look like that girl fell out of the shower, grabbed the shower curtains on the way out, and tried to cover it up.
#11PROJECT RUNWAY 2010
Posted: 1/14/10 at 11:48pmI can't see Ping lasting too long. I think her stuff may be too avant garde even for them.
#12PROJECT RUNWAY 2010
Posted: 1/15/10 at 12:32amI LOVED the winning dress. I had my eye on it and hoped I wasn't way off in liking it.
#13PROJECT RUNWAY 2010
Posted: 1/15/10 at 2:28amI didn't mind the winning outfit, but it would never have been my choice for the winner. That said, I also thought the shots they showed didn't at all fairly represent the other contestants.

Oh hell, I forgot this was on last night. There are way too many things on Thursday.
They are back in NYC right?
#15PROJECT RUNWAY 2010
Posted: 1/15/10 at 8:20amHave I been living on the moon? I didn't see a single ad for the new season. Missed it.
#16PROJECT RUNWAY 2010
Posted: 1/15/10 at 11:35amPing's outfit reminded me of something Mary Kate and Ashley would wear...they go for that homeless "Boho" look.

I'm obsessed with Ping. In every way. I want her to take the whole thing just to satisfy my Ping love.
#18PROJECT RUNWAY 2010
Posted: 1/15/10 at 12:21pmDid anyone stay tuned for Models of the Runway? I thought it was a bit much when Ping started to cry.
#19PROJECT RUNWAY 2010
Posted: 1/15/10 at 12:41pmAlready this season is more interesting than the fiasco that was last season!

Ping was crying because she knew that it was her choice that eliminated the extra model. It would have been true of anyone making the last pick, but I think Ping felt bad about it. I didn't "like" Ping's work, but the colors she used were interesting.
I agree that this seems to be a very talented group, especially compared with last season when I could probably sew better than half the contestants. I thought the elimination was entirely appropriate based on what the other contestants produced.
