PROJECT RUNWAY 2010

Here we go!
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Let's just hope they don't bore Nina!

PROJECT RUNWAY 2010

Does Heidi plan her pregnancies around this show?
Some people paint, some people sew, I meddle.
#4

PROJECT RUNWAY 2010

It's not up to Heidi, it's up to Seal.
#5

PROJECT RUNWAY 2010

Well, TECHNICALLY, it's up to both of them.
Some people paint, some people sew, I meddle.

PROJECT RUNWAY 2010

I really liked the stuff they showed from the guy who said he liked vintage. That red and black dress was gorgeous.

PROJECT RUNWAY 2010

I was really impressed by a LOT of their work. I have a feeling this may be the most talented season of designers yet...

Seth was my favorite of the episode, followed by Emilio.

I could definitely see Seth's dress hanging in the window at hot topic.

PROJECT RUNWAY 2010

I'm so glad they're back in NYC (and I imagine Tim Gunn is too though his complaints about LA last season were priceless).

PROJECT RUNWAY 2010

The one girl's dress (Asian, sorry, i don't remember her name) made it look like that girl fell out of the shower, grabbed the shower curtains on the way out, and tried to cover it up.
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert

PROJECT RUNWAY 2010

I can't see Ping lasting too long. I think her stuff may be too avant garde even for them.

PROJECT RUNWAY 2010

I LOVED the winning dress. I had my eye on it and hoped I wasn't way off in liking it.

PROJECT RUNWAY 2010

I didn't mind the winning outfit, but it would never have been my choice for the winner. That said, I also thought the shots they showed didn't at all fairly represent the other contestants.

Oh hell, I forgot this was on last night. There are way too many things on Thursday.

They are back in NYC right?

PROJECT RUNWAY 2010

Have I been living on the moon? I didn't see a single ad for the new season. Missed it.

PROJECT RUNWAY 2010

Ping's outfit reminded me of something Mary Kate and Ashley would wear...they go for that homeless "Boho" look.

PROJECT RUNWAY 2010

I'm obsessed with Ping. In every way. I want her to take the whole thing just to satisfy my Ping love.

PROJECT RUNWAY 2010

Did anyone stay tuned for Models of the Runway? I thought it was a bit much when Ping started to cry.

PROJECT RUNWAY 2010

Already this season is more interesting than the fiasco that was last season!

PROJECT RUNWAY 2010

Ping was crying because she knew that it was her choice that eliminated the extra model. It would have been true of anyone making the last pick, but I think Ping felt bad about it. I didn't "like" Ping's work, but the colors she used were interesting.

I agree that this seems to be a very talented group, especially compared with last season when I could probably sew better than half the contestants. I thought the elimination was entirely appropriate based on what the other contestants produced.
