Never heard that one before. Well I guess if you so not agree with someones politics they automatically get the nutjob label. So much for politican discourse.
Paladino is nuttier than a Christmas fruitcake & makes Norman Bates look like a choir boy. Christmas came early this year for Andy Cuomo.

Funny thing is, earlier in the interview he said it was pastrami he was eating, not salami.

Thinking he was a nutjob would be the kind thing, otherwise, his actions were purely intentional.
While not calling him a nutjob exactly, I have heard and read MANY people speculating that he was in at least the early stages of dementia - which I've never gone along with simply because that puts him more in the realm of doddering and befuddled. I prefer to maintain my distinct loathing for the man.

I remember talking to a friend shortly after Reagan's presidency ended. My friend was working on the Reagan library, and he was telling us about meetings where it was clear that Reagan was indeed suffering from dementia even at that point.
By which I mean he was telling us this BEFORE we all knew that Reagan had been diagnosed with Alzeheimer's.
But honestly, I don't recall the exact time frame.

I have read speculation it was around the time-frame of the Iran-Contra scandal when it appeared that Reagan was in the early stages of dementia, so '85-'87.

My mother is in the early stages of dementia, and though no two cases are identical, its presence is impossible to mask.
