I was shocked by this, and Fred Thompson must be more than a little disappointed.

From the Washington Post:

"I thought it was important for me to make it clear that Rudy Giuliani is more than acceptable to people of faith," said Robertson. "Given the fractured nature of the process, I thought it was time to solidify around one candidate."

He insisted that while some on the "fringe" of the social conservative movement may see Giuliani as an unacceptable nominee, the "core know better."

Question: How freaking far off the charts does one have to be in order to be considered "fringe" by PAT ROBERTSON?

well wasn't this man a weatherman too? he told us that the reason Florida has all those hurricanes is because so many gays are out in the streets having abortions there.

Rudy is tempermentally unsuited to be President.
