Ever encountered someone like this? This is just a person who, no matter how blunt you are about it, just can't keep from horning in on everything you do.
I've had plenty of these people in my life in the past and now it's happening again. What do YOU do when you're encountered with a busybody like this?

Heh. Rath, I have NO trouble attracting busybodies to my person as if using a flame to draw moths. I'm looking for advice.
CKeaton's got it in the right ballpark but I'd also like to stay out of jail.

Posted: 5/26/06 at 9:23amBway I have someone like that in my family. She works for the university I attend and acctually looks up my grades and calls me about them. She is always in my business about the medical stuff I'm going through and it is infuriating as hell. I finally told her that if she wants to know something she is going to have to ask and if I don't want her to know then I will tell her so. She got mad, didn't like it, but got over it. My advice to you is just to tell them that it is none of their business and that if they don't stop asking or prying then you will make sure that they don't get any information at all about you. Typically this works because they are usually desperate to get at least a little something. PM me if you want to know exactly how I worded the stuff to my relative.

Hmm, I should clarify but I'm being intentionally vague on purpose. This is a busybody person, you know, the kind of person who's just always "up in your junk."
"What are you doing? Where are you going? Why would you do that?"
That kind of person. Annoying. Needs to be stopped. Not someone prying into anything serious, but it's bothersome nonetheless. Also, of course, said person is a conspiracy theorist and, therefore, if you fail to disclose 100% of the requested information, then you're up to something suspicious.

#9re: People who Can't Mind Their Own Business
Posted: 5/26/06 at 9:47amDon't call them, and if he/she calls you, then hang right up. You know how to do do that, don't you? If not, I'll give you some good ways to do it.

Unfortunately, it has nothing to do with phone calls and it's not easy to shut said person out. There are too many ways of communication to block Ol' Busybody from me completely.
