Petition for shirtless icons...

YAY! I sign.

I think it's the things that are posted in threads that cause all of the deleted threads to become deleted. Why do people automatically blame Jose' for a deleted thread when one "mature" poster specifically stated that they waited until Jose' was no longer online last night before they posted the naked photo? And those other photos that followed.

It's one thing when someone has no respect for a specific board member. It's another when they want to, what was the phrase used, to flagrantly "test the waters" of the board's sensibilities. To want to make sport of the guidelines, make sport of when and which moderates are available, well to me that suggest a disrespect for the board itself, all moderators and each member.

But hey, that's just my take on it. I'm sure others will see it differently. Oh course anyone is free to start up their own sites, pay or free, open to all ages or not and post whatever they want to their heart's content.

Phantom, if you're not aware of this fact, Jose' is NOT the only person with the ability to delete threads.

It is my understanding that both Rob and Craig has that ability, too.

While it's convenient to accuse Jose' for every thread or icon that gets deleted, it just ain't so!

Does Jose ask is intern (in the third person, of course) "set 'em up, Joe"? or is it "Shoeless Joe, from Hannibal MO"?

Phantom... In all fairness, I don't think Gladys Kravitz (aka Jose') deleted the last thread. I beleive it was Rob. He found the scantly clad photos of gorgeous hunks, that I posted after Gladys went to bed last night, objectionable. I'll refrain from posting on this thread, so as not to get it deleted. But you can add my name to the petition.

The first pic that I ever posted was deleted after all of five minutes. Sure, it was of a shirtless, cute young man with a well-developed set of abs. But, he was wearing pants. So, go fig.

The first "muy angry" thread lasted for months. It only got deleted when there were about 40 Speedo pictures on it.

The second "muy angry" thread- I have no idea why it was deleted. We were careful not to put in anything more than shirtlessness, but it went anyway. I wish they'd give some sort of standards or ask for posts to be deleted instead of just seemingly arbitrarily deleting entire threads.

Anyway, it's not a big deal overall. A small con in a board full of pros. :)
