Cats- A shirtless male does the same thing for you that a shirtless female does for me.

That said there are laws in this country, so can we agree to shirtless guys and VERY scantily clad girls?

Actually, the "Muy Angry" thread was started because a picture of Catherine was used to stop a fight and the thread was deleted so I decided to show off lovely Catherine in her own thread. The pictures just happened to be heavy cleavaged. But, boy weren't tehy great. **Sigh**

But the ad is showing up on all the pages (to the right) and that appears to be in contradiction to the ban on shirtless icons dontcha think? Not trying to stir the pot, but pointing out the obvious....

Guys appear shirtless on national television, PG films, billboards, virtually everywhere. Has anyone ever been to a public beach or water park? What's the big deal?

Like I said in one of the deleted threads, we're not posting anything you can't see on a billboard in the theater district. Can't we even have self-contained threads devoted to such things so people who don't want to look won't be offended?

Well just to point out the obvious, which seems to often get lost in the course of some people's hedonistic pursuits, but a large percentage of those visiting this site do so from work. Not all work places allow someone to log onto any site. And it's only by being logged on and changing your settings that avatars do NOT show.

So, and not presuming to speak for Rob, it occurs to me that possibly this is a small attempt to make this site workplace friendly.

So, basically what you're saying etoile is that concessions and considerations should be made for those who are doing something they're not supposed to be doing in the first place. If you're at work, you should be working.

as much as I miss the shirtless icons, I bet the icon issue has a lot more to with their contract with all the ad providers who forbid certain types of content on the sites where their banners are displayed. atleast one of the companies they use requires that your content be on topic and that message boards be moderated removing content of a sexual nature.
