Here's one from my recent A Chorus Line.

This one is of us on the line. I understudied for Mark the first weekend (that's me in the light blue shirt and headband). I tried to post two others, (Mark's part in the Montage and the Finale), but it's not showing up on the preview.

I've been meaning to post my Les Miz pics, but I still haven't gotten my CD with the pictures.

Oh, and I've never done Beauty and the Beast. Yet. It's our next spring show.

bwaylvsong: I appreciate you concern. Yes, I was the youngest in the cast, but the opera is really not that difficult vocally, and it's many young singers' first opera. It's very different than the other stuff Puccini has written, as it is his only comedy. The difficulty lies in the timing as most of it, for the family members, is in a recicitive style. I never went above a G, and when our musical director/my voice teacher thought one line was to much, she put our Nella on it with me. I sang a trio, and that was all done very lightly. I never pushed. It was actually the healtiest my voice has ever felt during a show.

The stuff that Ciesca sings is VERY different than Lauretta, who sings the opera's most famous aria "O mio babbino caro". THAT can damage a young voice.

Here's some pics of me in Oliver!, I was one of Fagin's gang(we had girls in our gang, and it was all teens)....I'm in #7(on the right, holding the cane w/ the brown skirt), #8(the Down stage left wheel of the carrige..lol), #10(up on the platform cowering w/ my twin sister), #11(cowering again--I'm on the left), and #12 is the cast picture...it was such a fun show!!

Hey there, I'm new to the forum (first post!). I figured I'd post a few pictures.

Heres me as Cladwell in Urinetown at my Highschool in Febuary:


Me as Albert in Bye Bye Birdie in July:


Me as Roger in Grease when I was 13 (I'm 17 now) I'm on the right, on the left is doody (we were by far the youngest two people in the cast):

There, those are most of my favorite parts that I've played. There arn't full sets in any of them as they're mostly taken from early (one of the first) dress rehearsals...minimal set/lighting in pretty much everything (though sets for our shows tend to be crap, especially compared ot the stuff you all seem to have...wow). Hope you enjoy, and I'm glad to finally post here (I've lurked for a while).
