Abbarabbit: Don't get me in any more trouble. LOL!
I did tip, of course. And for the record: I got drinks or my friend's at Marie's Crisis and tipped $6 for four drinks, I gave a $5 tip to the piano player, and we tipped over 20% at dinner. Whew, I thin that covers everything.

I was there once and the lines are usually out the door. It tasted like plain yogurt. (It tasted like plain yogurt, frozen but softserve.) I never really considered yogurt all that healthy,,, it is milk afterall. Most is loaded with sugar.
The fresh fruit is refreshing... but um I can like buy that.
So not worth the price... and it is seriously depressing that fresh fruit has to be mixed with junk to be chic, and the fact that trying to eat healthy has to cost a fortune is pathetic. This place is just like Bearded Papa it will come and go...

Ok... you guys made me really curious and since I like to know what I put in my body I looked up some info. Strangely they don't have a wiki yet.
Anyways.... Good news. The plain is non-fat. It has 25 calories and is VERY low in carbs.
Bad news...
Not sure what they use for sweetener... it says "natural" which is strange they should at least let us know if it is honey. Hm.... I was VERY sweet and I wonder how the carbs are so low.
There is a pending lawsuit right now concerning the fact that this dairy product is probably not technically yogurt. It does not have the bacterial cultures that make yogurt so good for you. Apparenlty it is created with powder... that explains the odd texture.
Is it good for you? At this point I would say nay. The added fruit certainly is. If those nutrition facts are accurate, I think it is a healthy alternative to regular yogurt and any ice cream.

A newspaper recently sent some to a lab for a culture study and it does have live, active yogurt cultures but it looks as if they found that it doesn't quite have enough to qualify for real yogurt (which Is something like 1000 parts per million).

I like yogurt but thought Pinkberry was one of the worst things I've ever tasted. I don't understand how there's a huge line there all the time.
I would rather have Mr. Softee.

I live in the city and there is a pinkberry 4 blocks from my house. I am obsessed with pinkberry and try to get it as much as possible. It was big in L.A. for a while then they came here. I think if you haven't tried it it is worth a try.

Posted: 6/25/07 at 12:44pmI tried desperately to find a Mr. Softee after my Pinkberry experience, but no luck. I guess it was too late, I had to settle for Twinkies when I got home.
