wicked, you say we're all so negative. If someone is faced with things that they can not help in life, things that are out of their control, there's good reason for sympathy and I believe you'd see it from this board.
This girl brought it all on herself and could have helped herself anywhere along the line.

"She's a fvcking human."
Exactly, and as a human she has the ability to make choices. The choices that she's made have turned her into a circus side show. There are scores of professional entertainers, who go about their lives and their business with nary a blip on the radar screen because of the choices they've made. Yes, there will be the occasional paparazzi pic, but because they choose not to play into the "cult of celebrity" they somehow manage to have led fairly normal lives. Britney has chosen to allow her life to become the fodder of entertainment and gossip rags, and seems to revel in it. At any time she could have put on the brakes and retreated. Now she's really nothing more than a has-been, publicity whore.

Wow. You're really awesome. I wish I had the power and authority to determine the value of someone's life.

I call them as I see them. And that has nothing to do with determining the value of her life. Her life has the same value as yours or mine. No more or no less. But let's face it, she isn't exactly at the top of her game, she's now famous for just being famous and she certainly doesn't hide from publicity but welcomes it...good or bad.

I feel bad for her only because I wish she could just get it together long enough to realize that what's really important now is her two little boys. Not the paparazzi, being at the top of the charts, etc.
If she loves those kids as much as she claims to she should have made it her business to remain contactable to those who were doing her drug monitoring.
I really wish her the best. I hope she pulls through and I hope that most of all she finds peace.

It's being reported on Yahoo news that she ran over one of the paparazzi that document her every move last night and took off crying.

Glad to hear that she was staying at home and taking responsibility for her actions -- AGAIN!
Stay STRONG, gurl.

Wickedfeyhoozoz, I think it is admirable that you stand up for your little icon. Really. But she is one messed up chick that will ONLY get better by checking herself into a hospital for a very long time. You say she went to rehab? Yea, for what, a day?
You say she is not partying that much. She should not be PARTYING AT ALL. You just won't get it until you see them carrying her body out of the Chateau Marmont in a body bag while Leesa Gibbons and Pat O'Brien tell us about her hair extensions and her tanning rituals. That will complete her "martyrdom" for you.
Oh, and I don't presume to know you, I only read what you write and it makes you look like an idiot.

"The judge is trying to teach you a lesson, shut your mouth and learn it! You are a bad mother, and so is your mother! Get your **** together and take care of your kids!! Your mom needs to lock your spoiled ass in the basement or wherever it is that you cannot get anymore drugs. Stop drinking immediately too! If you are too weak to do that, then you are no better than a crack whore on the street, and your mom should stop pimping your ass and do what mom's do...lock up your kid, and sit there with her for as long as it takes to get her right!!! Get guards around her to sober her up! SIT WITH YOUR KID, MOM! AFTER YOU AND HER DAD PIMPED HER OUT LIKE JON BENET, SIT THERE WITH HER AND STRAIGHTEN HER OUT...THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!! (not even hers, but yours, put pimpng out your other daughter on hold til you make your grown one better)."

Posted: 10/19/07 at 11:47pmWhat's struck me most about this entire saga is how easily she seems to give after she hits a snag in the whole visitation process. If you're waiting for a phone call regarding your children and know that your cell phone has poor reception in the immediate area, wouldn't the immediate reaction of most be to get on a land line and call someone connected to the process? If you're expecting some sort of notification from a speaker at your front gate (or whatever the situation was) about your visitation time and don't receive it, how can you just give up so easily? I would hope most mothers would be at least making some phone calls in an attempt to understand the situation - hell, she even could hire someone to do that for her. It's so difficult for me to fathom. I suppose this all really speaks to how badly she needs help more than anything. Updated On: 10/19/07 at 11:47 PM

Britney Spears has REGAINED visitation rights of her sons, Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, PEOPLE has learned.
The singer on Saturday was spotted driving with her children in Studio City, Calif., in her white Mercedes convertible, which was decorated with pumpkins on the dashboard.
A presumed court-appointed monitor was seated in the front seat, with her sons in the rear.
On Wednesday, L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon had temporarily suspended her visitation rights. A source close to Spears told PEOPLE the judge removed her rights after the pop star was unreachable by a cell phone designated for court-related scheduling.
On Thursday, Kevin Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said he expected Spears would get visitation reinstated soon because "she has complied with the part of the order [causing the suspension]."
Lawyers for both sides did not respond to calls for comment.
Spears and Federline are both required to show up for their next hearing on Oct. 26.

It's difficult to know what is the truth anymore. The media are compulsive liars.
That said, she doesn't appear to be a good mother. She's lost visitation with her kids and she's out getting her lips done instead of trying to do whatever she needs to get her kids back--seems like she's got her priorities screwed up.
I think Rosie, although coming from an emotionally wrought state which probably has something to do with knowing what it's like to grow up without a mom, did hit on some valid points. I would think parents of teen stars have to be super vigilant in helping their young offspring stay grounded which her parents obviously failed to do.

Posted: 10/20/07 at 11:23pmBritney is really not ready for children right now. But THIS happend... I feel sorry for her two children. They're not even better off with their dad! I really wish everyone would just leave Britney alone! It's like there just waiting for something bad to happen to her.
