Just curious, was there any pop culture item from the past millenium that you missed out on. I'll start.
I only watched a couple of episodes of 'Maude' because for some reason neither Bea Arthur nor the character appealed to me back. Perhaps I was too young to fully grasp that phase of the feminist movement or why Maude seemed so angry at her husband Walter and the rest of the world.
My grandma's obsession was 'Sanford and Son' which I completely despised growing up. I hated the way Fred called his son Lamont 'dummy'. However, for some reason now it's my guilty pleasure in syndication.
I also never tuned into 'Seinfeld' during the late 80's nor 'Friends' during the 90s.

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT -- saw an episode, thought it was forced and over funny in that "See How FUNNY We're All Being?" kind of way, it didn't appeal to me, and Ron Howard's whiny little narrating voice drove me up the wall.
I never really liked Seinfeld. I thought it was meh.
I've never seen Arrested Development, but I plan on starting it soon.
I've never seen Arrested Development either.
I've never seen even one episode of EVERYBODY LOVES RAMOND, THE BIG BANG THEORY, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA, TWO AND A HALF MEN, SCRUBS or MY NAME IS EARL
I was not a fan of Seinfeld, The Simpsons, or Arrested Development. I gave up on Roseanne toward its end, probably the last 2-3 seasons. None of the HBO comedies have appealed to me, like Sex and the City, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Girls, Veep, Nurse Jackie, etc.
Pretty much Jordan's entire list minus AD.
My old roommate got me into BIG BANG THEORY. Love it.
Never got into Seinfeld or Raymond. Hate both actors.
What about Fraiser?
I LOVE FRIENDS and watch it constantly. I have a friend and we text through friends quotes.

Wow, the response has been incredible.
I wasn't aware of just how much I missed out on until now. With the exception of 'Entourage', I'd have to add MisterMatt's entries to my own.
And MadBrian, I did tune into 'SATC' just to see what the other half was up to but most of HBO's comedy lineup has always sucked.
And there was these two comedies called 'Living Single' and 'Girlfriends' watched by every African American female between 15 - 40 that I knew at the time of their airing. I thought 'Living Single' with Queen Latifah was pretty decent but the Kelsey Grammar-produced 'Girlfriends' was drivel. I'm still trying to figure out which of the ladies blew him to land a part.
Nearly forgot, I never watched gasp...GOLDEN GIRLS. Just wasn't part of the target demographic.
Doesn't matter the time or day, I can always watch friends and golden girls.

Actually, I watch too much TV. I've really started getting into some shows from Australia and New Zealand like The Blue Rose and Agent Anna.
Modern Family
The Office
Arrested Development
I've watched one or two episodes of each of these and just didn't find them remotely funny. Don't know why I don't like this type of show. It's not that I don't like quirky character ensembles. I LOVED Seinfeld. The only thing I can identify that really separates them is the laugh track/live audience element.
I've never watched Seinfeld or Arrested Development either. I'm sure there are more, but I'm blanking out on things I've never seen an episode of. A lot of shows mentioned I've seen at least a handful, if not all.
Just recalled one. I've never seen an episode of The Office. It never looked interesting. And it's sort of funny too because my sister went to school up in Scranton and I lived there very briefly. So, I probably would know some of the stuff on there.
I've never watched THE OFFICE.
I also never got into the reality competition shows, with the exception of the 20032004 season of BIG BROTHER. I knew people who knew "Cowboy", so I watched it with them. That was the season with the twins, who switched places. Huge reveal. Loved it.
Never got into the amazing race or survivor though. Hate the apprentice and celebrity apprentice and don't even get me started on that bottom of the barrel hack show dancing with the stars.
Loved Idol in the beginning though. Haven't watched it since 2007 or so.
I saw one or two episodes of The Office and hated it.
Now, if you include reality shows, I never watched any of the Real Housewives.
I remember the How I Met Your Mother pilot and thinking, 'This has no staying power. The concept will run dry by the 10th episode.' Almost a decade later we finally know what the mother looks like. I still find that show amazing in how it made indelible characters out of everybody BUT the leading man. Same thing happened with The Big Bang Theory. The pilot was terrible but I have checked in after Mayim Bialik got a role in the series. It's enjoyable but the nerd culture is just a little too broad.
Never cared for The Office (bailed completely before the Roy-Jim-Pam triangle was settled and somewhere around the time both Rashida Jones and Amy Adams played the love interests of Jim) and nearly bailed on Parks & Recreation when Leslie Knope essentially acted like the female Michael Scott and not the feminist icon she currently is. I somehow watched every episode of Arrested Development's original airing (somehow because I was a teen who seemed like the only person who watched in my HS and the schedule was constantly changing) though that became a chore when Charlize Theron's guest arc happened. I felt like the latter episodes nearly ruined Michael Bluth.
Never got into the mockumentary comedies except Parks & Rec and this includes Modern Family. Parks & Rec completely hits my funny bone with the satire on small government though I personally think Veep has overtaken it- which by the way is having an outstanding second season.
My parents watch Two and a Half Men re-runs religiously. It seemed when both of them turned a certain age they suddenly all got into CBS programming out of the blue.
Shows like Friends and Seinfeld were staples when I was a kid. My mother always preferred the NBC comedies because they were mostly set and shot in NY. She preferred Seinfeld to Friends because so many things rung true to her in how NY specific stuff got. She also watched Frasier a lot because for her Kelsey Grammer was exactly like her brother-in-law, my uncle.
I'm loathe to admit as a gay man I never "got":
The Golden Girls
Happy Days
Laverne and Shirley
Mork and Mindy
Mr Ed
My Mother the Car
I love and highly recommend curb your enthusaism.
