That'd be great if it wasn't a big fat lie.
It was tough to pick given those three selections...but even it was trimmed with hair and not monkey fur and had the safety pin skirt, Chris' one look was VERY Marilyn in SOME LIKE IT HOT. The Rami draped shades of grey dress was terrific, but that was a sad coat over it, I didn't get that at all...was it some kind of sweater? Also, the "lot of coat" looked really "quilted 70's overcoat" to me, particularly that stitched rounded end belt. I did think both the gowns were impressive though...the "velvet condom" comment made me laugh, but there have certainly been other couture things like that, not made for ease in movement. My question is, why no guest judge to choose between Chris and Rami? isn't the objectivity of a fresh judge one of the guiding principles of the show?
On the reunion show, I was kind of sad for Chris that no one put him near the top (among the other designers). I'm wondering if the judges took that into consideration in determining the third position to join Christian and Jillian. It's hard to predict an overall winner from those three---so many pluses and minuses with them all.
What, suddenly Austin has a problem with LYING?

It looks like Chris is doing pretty well for himself:
...the industry already has taken notice of his distinctly whimsical fashion sense. He has received an offer to do the costuming for a big-budget Hollywood movie (he won't mention any titles), and he is working on producing his own stage show.
Based on the three garments each shown, I thought Chris' were stronger, but PR has clearly never really been solely about talent.
Inside Bay Area story
I thought Chris should have won.
I don't see what the big deal about hair is?! People will wear fur, or feathers and that is the same thing? Besides, it's not like it was a scalp off someone's head. AND, there are at least two warehouse shops right around the corner from me that sell nothing BUT human hair.
It moved well, it caught the light.
Chris' designs were better than Rami’s. I didn’t care for the dress everyone is raving about. I thought it made the models ass look HUGE considering the butt was the highlighted area in the back. The blue coat was too much, but the gown was nice.
I look forward to seeing what Chris does in the future.
Chris was likely viewed by the judges as the off-the-wall, fun and charming guy-- they liked him but didn't take him seriously. If one of the other finalists had used hair, it probably would have been seen as innovative. I mean, you can't tell me that Chris' three looks were any more "costume-y" than Christian's "museum challenge," but the judges just seemed to think of Chris as "the costume guy" no matter what he was sending down the runway.
Rami's draping dress seemed very 70s to me, and the jacket looked uncomfortable and overdone.
But hey, Chris got some good exposure anyway.
This season was a little odd. No big drama. Chris being kicked off and then returning. Having the tie.
It's a shame he won't be able to win.
Did anybody honestly think that the judges would choose Chris after they had sent him packing once? Admit they were wrong, never!

I laughed every time they would call him "extremely talented". If he was so talented, why'd they give him the boot?
I really hope Jack comes back next year.
Well, as if their decisions are ever consistent anyway-- sometimes someone is sent home for one bad week, other times someone is saved because of their past work, etc.
No doubt Rami is considered more commercially viable, although judging by his house and studio, he wasn't doing too badly for himself prior to PR.
This might be a little stereotypical, but Jewish people aren't known for being poor.
He looks like his mother might've been a model. Who knows what his dad does?
I'm sure he's done well with himself, but I'm sure his parents help out.
Or maybe they don't.
"This might be a little stereotypical, but Jewish people aren't known for being poor."
Haha, then why am I struggling?
"He looks like his mother might've been a model."
Probably-Jewish girls are well known to be models.
" Who knows what his dad does?"
Probably owns a bank or runs Hollywood.
" I'm sure his parents help out."
Goes without saying!
I do work, Somms. You're acting like my grandparents.
I was born to write and that's what I'm doing. Damn the rest. I'm confident I'll be successful.
Why can't I be the next Botero? He's been selling his paintings since he was a teen and he's pretty damn successful, dontcha think?
If he can do it, I can do it.
It's just that writing is a lot harder than painting. I can't stand at street corners and sell my manuscripts.
Nice attempt at deflection, now lets bet back to the Jews.

Seriously, asshole, do you READ the crap you write before you post? Everyday you make a bigger and bigger FOOL of yourself. It really is comical.
I didn't see Jane's response until after I posted.
When did Jane2 get so self-righteous? You used to be so sweet.
It's a well known fact that all Jews are self-rightous.
Name calling is so mature.
"Jew" is a little bit like "Oriental". It's a little offensive.
To quote my aunt, "I'm not a Jew. I'm Jewish."
Nit (wit) you amaze me. First, you hint of cruelty and sadism to animals, then you admittedly make a ridiculous stereotypical post (which you admitted to). You don't think you're going to get any backlash from your stupid posts?
I can be sweet, but you sure do bring out the worst in people.
Didn't he actually say that his mother was Miss Jordan? ANYWAY. This is all going so well!
Shawk, you're so right! Nit has decided that Rami must be Jewish. When was it ever mentioned that he was?
Y'all have the choice to behave the way you do. We post what we choose to say. You can choose to be nice, or ignore me, but y'all decide to call me names. *shrug*
A stereotype wouldn't be a stereotype unless it pertained to some part of the stereotyped community.
(I actually think about posts before posting, so if I'm behind, that is why.)
