Chloe had a very successful store in Houston before she won. Jeffrey already owned a manufacturing company for his designs prior to winning.
"I kind of doubt they are permanent."
Rami's name was painted above his door. Says 'permantent' to me.
I didn't notice that. Then I don't understand why this competition is open to designers who are not "new" on the scene. I guess it's the same as Idol-you can already have a business/career going to enter.
I just put Rami's name in the yellow pages search and his business popped up.
He's only 4 miles from me.
I just saw the 1st half hour of last night's show. He has a nice space.
TheatreDiva, ever since Jay won in the first season and went virtually nowhere, the judges and producers want to someone who is more experienced in the business side of fashion that will "make something" of themselves so Bravo doesn't "waste their time".
I thought the whole point was to mentor them?
Why would they give the first winner a dime if they didn't have and business experience? They may as well flush the money down the toilet.

It's not just Jay that's had a difficult time. Jeffrey from last season has struggled. His "big" accomplishment was costume designer for the BRATZ movie. If they want someone to be successful, they need someone who is going to be commercially viable and who is able to design clothes for celebrities as well as everyday women. Rami and Jillian are probably the two most capable of doing that.

Really? I would think that they couldn't care less who the winner is, as long as they're willing to show up on a TV spot in a Saturn vehicle.
Christian's collection is way over designed.
Jillian's is the most wearable of the three.
"rami is boring and repetitive"
I bet he's like that in bed, too.
Meh, i wouldn't mind being bored and repetitive in bed with him.
My boyfriend loved chris, for more than just his talent.
I think Chris should have stayed over Rami. That blue jacket? Ew. And even Chris' human hair wasn't too weird.
Great interview with Chris ... he's such a great person.
... because it’s not always about winning or losing a competition. It’s about being true to yourself and your creativity, and also just showing people that the idea in life is to take some risks. If you don’t, you’re never going to change anything.
Interview with Chris.
Scroll halfway down the page and you'll find the best thing to happen to Project Runway since Tim and Andre's date at Red Lobster:
It's a Motherf**ing Walk-off!
as much as i love christian (he is fierce), his line is over the top and not wearable.
i am afraid the judges will criticize Rami for not having enough draping because its not his normal style (which would make me ANGRY because rami's line is fabulous)
jillian has been my favorite for a long time and i would wear her entire collection! she has the best style..and hair ahaha
IT'S ON IT'S ON IT'S ON
I wish they would have shown Sweet pea and Chris' collections on the runway. I liked sweet Peas. But I think it is now between Jillian and Rami. And I will predict Jillian.

Yay!
I loved his collection
I'm quite happy with their choice, unlike season 2. Daniel V should've won that one, in my humble opinon.
SPOILERS
Well, not a shock Christian won. I liked his collection a lot, but I really preferred Jillian's collection overall. Still, he certainly deserved it.
Can't wait until next year!
Definitely not how I picked it. They all did wonderful shows, but.....
I really thought Jillian had it. And wouldn't she have been the 1st woman to win? I have to admit, when Christian started tensing up and holding back tears right before he won, I started tearing up and cried when he won. I am so gay!
I liked Jillian's the best, but I totally understand why Christian won. Bravo to him!
