If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Thank a god they’re gone. Brandon is my favorite this season. He creates some really out of the box things that are always fascinating, to me.

I actually LIKE a number of the contestants this year, and was sorry to see Amy go, but not all that suprised. I'm glad to see a level of support and respect to be in the work room.

I like the avant garde challenge a lot....and usually, I do not!

As frustratingly entertaining as the Twins are/were...

...finishing

...each other's thoughts

....each other's sentences

....each other's stitches...

...only...to...be...sent...home....first

....and then only to be sent home...in....disgrace...

!!!!!Great suspense! Great editing Kudos Guys!!!! Great storytelling!! This is how PR becomes more than just a run of the mill competition show....

not to be "male" influenced but I do think Brandon, Kentaro, and Michael are doing the most innovative fashion...I do like Kenya a lot too, but she still doesn't go "outside the box" too much...we'll see this week...

Project Runway may seem to have a lower profile these days but it is still so different from other shows; doesn't insult your brain..I still enjoy and can't wait for 17, 18,....

The last 2 episodes were Project Runway GOLD regarding those twins. The DRAMA! The whole thing about whether the twins were ripping off designs was really just unnecessary drama when they should be focused on their own thing. The use of tools outside the workroom however, was a major issue and should have been raised the moment it was revealed. The way Claire tried to downplay it was really insulting. I imagine those girls are getting a rather harsh internet awakening. I wonder if they even watched it and if so, realized how insufferable they appear.

Anyway, I really thought Ayana should have won the avant garde challenge. Especially since she created almost EXACTLY what I would have designed. Though admittedly, I also imagined another design of a strait-jacket dress made entirely of stretch denim overalls straps, buttons and buckles as a statement of the femininity of tomboys juxtaposed with the societal restraints of being identified as a tomboy. Does that make sense?

I actually stopped watching because of the twins- they were like an awful challenge within a challenge and the judges like usual did not care- I couldn't take it. They sacrificed two slots for actual talented individuals for entertainment bait and minor talent. PR should be better than that.

I'm so happy they're finally using average-sized and curvier models.

There is no show better than that in the US. PR has been casting people based on drama potential rather than talent for YEARS. Look at ChaCha! Did they really think based on his portfolio that he had potential to last or improve or even possibly win? If so, they have a serious lack of talent auditioning for the show and have drastically lowered the bar.

It IS very interesting that Tim hasn't used his save yet....just the other day I was wondering if they even had it on the table. Is he saving in case either Brandon or Kentaro get axed?

I will NOT miss the twins. Despised them.

And yes, love the variety of model sizes and that we get to know them a little bit. I also like that they keep switching up their models....and it's a suprise. I wonder how they choose to elimate them?

After all these seasons, do we really need Heidi to introduce the judges every week? She can introduce the guest judges, but enough of the hellos and waves from Zac and Nina.

Still watching. Seems that the men are more innovative this season, especially Kentaro with his minimalist aesthetic. Brandon's definitely one to look out for but I'm worried that his menswear-inspired designs could become somewhat one-note if he presents at fashion week. Michael's definitely talented and and appears to have plenty of headroom. I find it interesting that he dropped out of Parsons after 2 years to do it in his unique way. Dude eats, drinks, and poops fashion. Margarita's been hit or miss and Kenya seems to design for church ladies. Which leads me to the dark horse, Ayana. There's something refreshing and intriguing about her modest aesthetic. There are lot of women who want to rock trendy garments without baring all. Like Kentaro and Brandon, she has a brand!!!

I could definitely see Brandon and Ayana in fashion week, but I think it's going to be a toss-up between Kentaro and Margarita. Margarita has had some surprisingly strong work from someone with a Miami-based aesthetic. Kentaro is high quality, but I still wonder about his range. I still have nightmares over that hateful woman who won with her macrame hanging planter template for her collection. Michael is the wild card. They loved his disco ball jumpsuit, which I found to be derivative. The only unique (and "avant garde" aspect was in the ugly lumps he added. But he added them only to the front, which only made it look half-finished.

That has to be Gretchen Jones from many moons ago. Thanks largely to her win, I have a real love-hate relationship with the finales. Seems at times that some really talented and innovative finalists struggle with time management or meet their creative demise trying to outguess the judges. It'll be interesting to see how the pressure to show at Fashion Week impacts the bonds that currently tie Brandon & Kentaro and Margarita & Michael. Ayana seems to travel in her own lane. I suspect that Kenya is the next to be sent packing...good seamstress from what I know about fashion.

My wife watches the show, so I see chunks of episodes now and then. To me, this season represents the absolute worst of so-called “reality” television. The twins didn’t belong on the show, they were just brought in as a gimmick. Then, conflict was contrived, and Heidi and Tim tried to play dumb. It all took away from what is otherwise a pretty solid show.

That's the one. The judges hated her smug attitude for much of the season, then hand her the win for one of the most boring collections we've seen on the show. That was infuriating. I blame the Nina Kors coalition that dominated too many seasons. The show was seriously off-balance and luckily, Heidi and Tim stepped up. I think a lot of viewers were ready to bail.

My favorites are Ayana, Margarita, Michael, and Brandon. I think Kenya is fabulous, but I don't she'll make top three. That being said, she has such a warm personality, joy, and star quality that would be great on THE CHEW or a show like that!

Not willing to say that the fix is in but it's clear which designer Nina and Zac are wowed by. I don't quite get it though. Even with my limited fashion knowledge, I'm starting to find that designer's color palette and overall aesthetic somewhat one note. It has always bordered on Aaliyah in the late 90s. I can't imagine any woman over the age of 25 wearing anything he's designed so far or one who's had a kid or two. When Nina and Zac boast that he's sending something new down the runway I struggle to take them at their word. Nonetheless, he clearly has a brand as well as two other designers both of whom are women. I predict that next week will be the end of the bromance when it's all on the line.

I thought his look last night was hideous but it left Nina’s chair sticky and wet. I can’t believe that blue dress didn’t win. I thought that was absolutely beautiful.

I would have liked to see the blue dress win, too -- but more, I would have like to have see more of the judges discussion over it

It's odd, that I know nothing about fashion - don't care about fashion beyond not wanting to look like an old lady - but am still drawn to this show. I'm guessing it's the creative process. So I am often flumoxed at what the judges like or don't.

I did think that Kentaro's design look depressing as hell even as it was very much like Brandon's aesthetic. And I thought that Kentaro should have been sent home - which doesn't matter because I think Tim would have used his save on Kentaro, too.

Did they say that FOUR out of the five will go to fashion week? I wonder why.
